If you're going to go there and pick out your lumber, I suppose it might be OK. I've been buying from them for a few years and going to pick it up myself, but more recently have decided that I'd rather have it delivered than making the trip. Unfortunately the last two deliveries have been negative experiences. The most recent one included walnut that was almost unusable. It was fully half sapwood, and lots of knots. The cherry wasn't much better. I doubt that I was able to use 1/4 of the walnut. I don't expect perfection when buying rough lumber, but this was ridiculous. I have to think that they took the opportunity to offload lumber that no one would ever buy, since I'm not a big customer... After the last experience I decided to look elsewhere, even if it costs more. I eventually made the trip to Clarks, asked questions and looked around. I asked what I should expect from a delivery of lumber that I didn't get to hand pick. It was a night and day difference. My future business will be there.

Wow wow wow! This place is truly incredible. I wasn’t able to go in person myself so I sent an employee. I had him send photos and I can’t wait to go in person. I handled everything over the phone with Victor who was so nice and accommodating. They even got my order finished days ahead of schedule. I wish I had found this place sooner. I cannot recommend them enough.

Wouldn't mill a 1/2 x 6 because they didn't carry pine. Just needed a tongue and groove. I yraveled 25 min to get here. They need to learn that customer satisfaction is paramount, and small jobs lead to big jobs.
