Not the greatest place to stay at.
☺ It was close to where i needed to be for a funeral for my cousin who suddenly passed and close to food and a walmart
☹ 1st. After checking in i left to go to my cousins funeral. I was only gone for about 2 hrs . I took pictures of my bag my charging cord and the tv remote before i left cause i was robbed before at a hotel. When i returned i noticed my stuff wasnt left the way i left it. Someone was in my room. 2nd a room that they tried to give me the tub had patched holes and it was poorly fixed and the tub had a dirt black ring around it. And there was trash left in the bathroom. The other room they gave me was a little better but still dirty.

Clean room wouldnt say spotless..Bed very firm. Staff was courteous..

Loved the hotel. Been to Chariton for family a few times and will be staying here going fwd.

I really needed a good night's sleep. It's rough out there, you know?
I was ready for bed. Well, I thought I was...
The moment I sat down, a resounding explosive BANG careened right through me. Was I under fire? A cannon ball wizzing past? I looked in every direction, expecting danger...
The bed is constructed with a sheet metal base that missed its dream of touring with a heavy metal band. The sheet metal capriciously bends and pops at will. It is loud. It gets one's attention.
Return fire emanated from a nearby room, though muffled.
I laid low, attempting to keep very still and keep the enemy at bay. At some time before dawn I awoke, stiff and sore, but in one piece, here to tell the tale, and to live another day.

Super nice hotel, very comfortable beds, very clean, new and modern. They have an awesome patio with a hot tub, fire pit and a tennis court. They also have a super cool game room with vintage video games, a ping pong and pool table. The lobby is cozy with an electric fireplace and seating.Julie, was so nice and welcoming, even though we were a little noisy, with 5 kids and 5 adults. Very welcoming 5 stars!

Absolutely fantastic stay. The hotel is super clean, modern, and unbelievably friendly. Every staff member goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The atmosphere is relaxed but classy, and the service is top-tier. Breakfast was great every morning—fresh, hot, and way better than the usual hotel spread. Highly recommend staying here!
