Thank you for your review, however I think you may have got us mixed up with another pub as we're not located near a riverside. We are a small village pub in Mortimer.
The food, services and atmosphere is perfect, I can highly recommend this pub for a great meal out.
The only improvement would be to the gents toilet, although clean and NOT smelly, the plastic mats in the urinal need changing.

What a wonderful experience! This was our first time dining under the new ownership, and we were thoroughly impressed. From the moment we walked in, the staff and landlady made us feel right at home with their delightful demeanor and top-notch service. The food was truly fantastic, exceeding our expectations and confirming what the locals had been raving about. Plus, the sensible pricing was a welcome bonus. Our group of four can't wait to come back!

Just back from a lovely evening with friends. A word of advice, go hungry ๐ The food was delicious and big portions. I had Sri Lankan fish balls to start followed by half rack of ribs.... absolutely delicious! Would highly recommend with friendly staff.

Our first night in England ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ with a friend and his girlfriend- we loved it ๐ฅฐ
This place is dog friendly and the food is amazing ๐คฉ we had a starter with melted Camembert and the chicken main course was equally delicious ๐ Rich in flavour and a good size after a cool day of travelling.
The service is flawless and very good ๐ you feel very welcome.
The atmosphere is also stunning as you feel like being surrounded by a great bunch of very kind folks
