I don’t normally write reviews unless I feel compelled to do so, and Kali is definitely worth writing about.
My husband and I always look forward to visiting this restaurant, and a big reason for that is Kali. She is consistently pleasant and greets us with a warm smile every time. No matter how busy her shift is—whether she’s working the bar, serving tables, or juggling both—she always checks in on her customers and makes sure everyone is taken care of. She truly seems to love what she does, and it shows in how effortless she makes great service feel.
During our last visit, we did have an uncomfortable experience with another waitress regarding our seating. We politely requested to be moved because the sun was glaring directly on us through the window, but the waitress responded with an attitude, which was disappointing.
Still, Kali’s professionalism and kindness always make up for any negative moments. She is the reason we continue to come back, hoping to have the pleasure of being served by her. The restaurant is very lucky to have her!
Ps, our favorite drink is the Passion Fruit Sunrise and we love the fried rice with shrimp and mussels, the Cajun Breaded Wings and the Sweet Potato Fries.
Take out fast and easy.

I come to this hook and reel often and I must say, I am always pleased with the service. Both bartenders Lashay and Aliyah do an exceptional job of taking care of me while im at the bar, always greet me with a smile and good conversation. I can honestly say I do enjoy my time here every time I come. Shout out to these beauties.

Came in on a Sunday for a quick bite. The food came out super fast and was great. Lia was my bartender. She was really nice and her drinks were good and strong. I'll definitely be back.

I came here on a Friday night after a long work day. Aliyah was my bartender. She was so pleasant and my drinks were 🔥. I will def be back but I only want her to make my drinks!!! Luv a bartender that knows what they’re doin!

Mike treated us with the high quality experience any other customer would wish for, he made sure from start to end that we were seated and had time to look at our menu before approaching, he checked in to make sure of any add ons if needed and set, no rush, and a simply a good time!

Mike was our server, and he was wonderful. He always came around to see if we needed anything, but he also gave us privacy. The food was awesome and I have plans on returning. What a pleasant experience. I would have taken a photo, but the food was just that good and unfortunately, it didn't last lol

Absolutely amazing experience at Hook & Reel, Georgetown, Brooklyn! From the moment we sat down, the service was top-tier. Our server, Mike, was exceptional — incredibly attentive, courteous, and genuinely helpful with suggestions.
