While it’s pricier than other vets we’ve been to, we love the vets there! They are always so personable and friendly, and even get down on the floor to love on the animals. You can tell they truly care! It’s also very easy to get an appointment so I appreciate that.

We didnt know we needed an appointment, came in with our injured kitty and they took us in right away!! They were supper kind and made us and pet feel welcome. Its one of those place that you know and feels like a safe environment and you can trust your loving pets with! If they treat me and respect me they definitely will do the same with my pets, you know! They have 3 new customers i will be bringing all my pets here for shots and check ups!

This was my first time here. The service was excellent. I have tried 2 other vets in the area and they are not even close to how good Hometown vet is. The staff is very professional and caring. So glad I decided to come here.

All my cats are being taken care of by Dr. Mlsna at Grand Animal Hospital. She’s attentive, detailed, soft-speaking. She would point things I should be aware of or be recommended of, but she never forces on me. It’s close to my home so the drive will not be a nightmare to my cats. The cost is not on the low end but charged as what they would as a boutique animal clinic. I am willing to go to a place that’s run efficiently and know my animals well.

Love the techs and vets there. I’ve had to make urgent care appointments and they’ve been very accommodating. I’ve been very happy with the care my pets have received there. Highly recommend!

Spent $900 for dental care and all that occur was a cleaning, x-rays, and a lot of drugs. Advised that they couldn't perform the two extractions that would most likely occur due to my cat possibly needing all teeth removed. Would have to go to Mt. Pleasant, 2hours away for that service, which may cost $3,000-$5,000. Had to call back 2 weeks later since I hadn't heard from the specialist, and learned that the referral hadn't occurred. The referral was a joke since I would have to travel back and forth, with a stressed out cat, at least twice. That's not happening. Called Hometown after reply to Google review advised I call and speak to leadership team....that was a waste since Sheryl, who I was supposed to hear from over a week ago has not called. If you want to be overcharged, be brushed off when you are unhappy with service, etc. then go here, otherwise don't.

This was our first visit for our new dog. Next day appointment was available. Didn’t have to wait at all. Dr. Eisenbart answered all of our questions. Everyone was nice and professional.

Until my recent visit with my female cat, I was pleased with this practice. After paying a $900 bill for dental services, with no extractions included and advisement that dental specialist in Mt Pleasant is the only recommendation given, I have decided to discontinue bringing my three cats to this practice. Very disappointed in lack of follow-up, concern, etc... Bill got paid and that is all that matters.

Our initial appointment for an annual exam was scheduled for 12:00 PM. At 9:34 AM on appointment day we received an email from the office stating our appointment was moved to 12:30 PM. We arrived on time (12:30pm) and were taken to the screening room, but after waiting over 30 minutes with no communication from anyone, we decided to leave. We had no idea whether we’d been forgotten or how much longer we would be waiting. This level of service is unacceptable for anyone, especially with no updates or explanation regarding the delay. We are very disappointed, as we have always received excellent care for our pet in the past.

I really like this practice. However, my last visit was with a tech and took very long. I had two pups with me and we were in the room over an hour and a half. It was their yearly visit so I expected it to be pricey but without seeing a vet it was still over $600. The price and the length of the visit was a lot.

This is the nicest vet I have ever been to! I had to have my Jody Beagle put down. The staff and Dr were very caring and nice. They had a nice room to lay with my Jody while the Doctor took care of him. They were very caring after the loss and gave me memorabilia to hold onto when I picked his ashes up. They took prints of his paw and snout, and a lock of his hair. They went above and beyond for us. I will never get another pet again after my Jody but if I was this would be my vet of choice!

I took my 11-year-old dog to Hometown Veterinary Partners - Orland Park for a new patient exam when I discovered Dr. Eisenbart and Dr. Ortiz had opened their own veterinary clinic. From my experiences as a paw parent seeking care for my pet, the larger veterinary hospitals have not consistently provided good customer service and this creates undue stress during an already stressful time. I prefer Hometown Veterinary Partners - Orland Park for several reasons: First, both Dr. Eisenbart and Dr. Ortiz are caring and patient veterinarians. Periodically throughout the years, while both physicians were employed at other animal-care hospitals, the two provided outstanding veterinary care for my dog. Dr. Ortiz’s attention to detail—coupled with her thoroughness—and willingness to answer a myriad of questions, along with her status phone calls to me, and positive energy is exemplary! Second, at Hometown Veterinary Partners - Orland Park, I am allowed to stay in a clean exam room with my dog for routine visits and preventive care rather than having to send my pet into the unknown ... behind-closed-doors. And the icing on the cake? Their exam rooms feel "spa-like" rather than a hospital. Third, the staff are professional, customer-focused, attentive, and friendly. It’s a breath of fresh air to interact with the Hometown Veterinary Partners - Orland Park team because they are very good with my dog and consistent with how they treat me in person as well as on the phone. Recently, my dog needed unexpected urgent care. I called Hometown Veterinary Partners - Orland Park and with a sense of urgency (without hassle) we were seen the same day. Lastly, it was time for a change. I was displeased with the level of veterinary service and inconsistencies I encountered with other hospitals. Therefore, I switched. Simply put, my pet deserves better! Candidly speaking, I have to admit it was a bit concerning for me to transition from having an annual wellness plan to not having one. However, even with the wellness plan elsewhere, there were multiple veterinary services where I paid out-of-pocket each year. Hometown Veterinary Partners - Orland Park does not have a wellness plan offering, yet their prices are reasonable; and they diligently track when my dog needs her annual routine and preventive veterinary care. Overall, I am happy I made the full transition to Hometown Veterinary Partners - Orland Park a few months ago. It was the best decision for my dog …. and for me too!
