I have been working with Hometown Roofing for a few months now dealing with some roof damage as well as my insurance company, as someone who is a new homeowner and managing the process of things, I deeply appreciate the staff (Johnny and Derek) who have without a doubt gone above and beyond to help me. Maggie and Derek have an amazing crew, and it really shows in the quality of the work and professionalism on site.
Johnny was absolutely outstanding to work with from start to finish. He was super communicative and truly went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and informed every step of the way. We dealt with the worst insurance claim I’ve ever experienced, and Johnny went to bat for me to push for the fairest possible payout for our damaged roof.
He consistently kept me updated on timelines, communicated clearly about when services would occur, and worked around my schedule without issue. Beyond the work itself, Johnny is incredibly personable and genuinely cares about the people behind the project—not just treating clients like another number.
Because of the trust he built, we also ended up adding gutters and ice brakes to our commercial property. I would recommend Johnny and Hometown Roofing to all my friends and family, and I fully expect to have them back out this summer for work on our barn.

A few days ago, I had Hometown roofing at my house on the east side of Indianapolis. I called that morning, Derek And his team came right out to look at a few things on my roof. I am in the process of selling my house and just wanted to have a few things checked out. They are very prompt, honest and communicate extremely well. I had a lot of questions and concerns about the process. The ARAC manager, Brent walked me through the process in a way I could easily understand and was patient with my many questions as I have never had to do anything like this before. Thank you ARAC
Johnny and the Hometown Roofing guys were awesome to work with. Even though our insurance claimed had been denied for a new roof, Johnny believed that we needed a new roof and continued to be persistent with our homeowners insurance. He even came out on two different occasions to meet with the inspector. Even when we thought that our claimed had been denied for good, he walked us through the process of getting a reinspection and never lost hope. In the end after going back and forth with the insurance company, they ended up covering our entire roof fully!
Then a couple weeks later they came out and pulled the old roofing off in about an hour, and put the new roof on the same day! They even brought their own port-o-potty near the street so their guys had a bathroom while on the job! The next day they came back and replaced our gutters and downspouts!
Overall they did a great job and I would recommend them to anyone!

In April of 2024, I had a new roof installed by Hometown Restoration. Everything about the process was picture perfect. So much so that when lightning struck my house one year later, I knew who I was going to call. Within an hour Matt called back and we scheduled an appointment for that same day. I was officially on my way into my second homeowners claim within a year. I honestly cannot say enough positive. Matt, Derrick and Maggie literally handled everything. Free Full Inspection
I had the pleasure of meeting Johnny and and Eli and getting a free and full inspection of my roof and gutters. They also checked for leaks in my attic. Along with they're personal inspection came a Drone inspection and a 14 page report and photos of what the Drone found. Very professional. I was impressed. They left me with a brochure and they offer help with filing a claim with my insurance Co. I will definitely be calling Hometown Roofing & Exteriors for my next needed job.
