Travis went above and beyond to get me the right doors. He tried to make my existing doors work (very much appreciated) and then when we had to do new doors, he let me know about a special and went out of his way to get the motor that I wanted. I got multiple quotes and Travis was the most responsive, genuine, and reasonably priced. I’ll be using Travis and his team for any of my garage doors (and for my clients)!

Called Hometown Garages at 9:15pm and Travis had a crew over the next afternoon to replace some springs on my garage door.
Showed up on time and performed services as expected and cleaned up job site when finished.
Would recommend to anyone needing repairs or other services.

Terrific service at a great price. I called and got a same day appointment. Travis and his assistant came out and got my door, which hadn't worked properly for many years, working smoothly again in about an hour. He also showed me how to make simple adjustments for the future.

This is my second time using this company, and they’ve officially earned a customer for life.
The first time, I had just bought my house and ran into garage door issues. Logan came out and was incredibly honest — he let me know I’d eventually need a new door, but since I wasn’t ready financially, he offered a temporary "band-aid" fix and even gave me detailed instructions on how to maintain it to prolong its life. That kind of honesty stuck with me.
Fast forward 1.5 years, and my garage door got caught on my tow hitch, bending the top panel. I had 4 companies come out for quotes. Travis showed up this time and was just as great. Not only were they the most affordable option, but they were the ONLY company that didn’t try to upsell me on things I didn’t need. I even asked about some of the upgrades other companies were pushing, and after asking me a few questions, Travis told me they weren’t necessary. That level of transparency is rare.
To top it off, he even offered another temporary fix — again, not pushing the sale — which I found incredibly respectable.
I decided to go ahead with a new garage door — and the installation was quick and seamless. The whole process from start to finish was smooth, professional, and stress-free.
10/10 recommend. Honest, reliable, affordable, and respectful of your time and budget. I’ll be sticking with them for all future garage door needs.

My son had an incident that involved our golf cart and garage door, the golf cart won. I called Hometown and they were quick to respond and showed up onsite within about 30mins. Travis was very knowledgeable and professional and got out door back on track. I completely recommend Hometown for all garage door repairs and new installs. Great company and easy to work with

These are the only guys worthy of trust. Not trying to ripping you off . Qualify work and product, had them come out for a few remote control fixes and since then we've gone on a journey of improvements that makes me happy to pull into my garages :-)

This guy, Travis, is your go-to-guy for repair work on your garage door opener, or new installs. Also does electric swing gate systems. Lives in Tahitian Village of Bastrop. He was able to come and fix my garage door coil system within a couple hours of my calling, and very reasonably priced. This is what amazing hometown businesses look like - great friendly attitude , excellent knowledge and service, efficient, reliable and doesn’t break the bank. So happy to have met Kevin to get to know him and his local business! He services thru to the Austin area as well.

My garage door stopped working over the weekend and Travis came over the same day to make the repair. Very professional and super knowledgeable. He even gave me some good information to help me maintain my garage door myself. Highly recommend these guys!
