Extremely professional, kind and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for more. Michelle was excellent in all of the preparations for Mum’s funeral. On the day, Oliver and the team did a really good job of making sure everything went smoothly. Everyone we had contact with took the time to listen. A truly personal service tailored to our needs.
I did my research in the staines area for a good funeral directors as I didn’t know the area well. Holmes and family came up a few times and I wasn’t disappointed. My call was answered out of hours which is a huge help when office hours are difficult with little ones around. I was then able to suggest a suitable time to take a call the following day during little ones nap time. Tracey rang me back at that exact time which was very refreshing and not many companies manage this ! Tracey helped to make things easy and explain things well. When i struggled with uploading photos she was able to complete for me. When you are under pressure and grieving these little things make so much difference! I was so pleased when Tracey told me they could bring my loved one to a crematorium near me even though it was a 45 minute drive away.
On the day Oliver was professional and informative and everything went smoothly. Highly recommend Holmes and family. This is the second funeral i’ve arranged in 6 months and two very different experiences!

Having been let down by another funeral directors in farnborough, we were trying to organise our mother's funeral from Ireland. At a time of great distress,
Michelle and the team at Holmes and family took care of the funeral arrangements for us ,
We were treated with sympathy, compassion and dignity.
Nothing was too much trouble, every aspect of arranging mums funeral was taken care of.
Lee and his team on the day were immaculately turned out and showed such respect and were very professional. we weren't rushed at any stage , Lee was there very step of the way with us.
Mum's favourite colour was pink and the gentlemen from Holmes and family wore pink ties on the day which was a lovely touch.
The hearse was sparkling clean.
We were very lucky to have found Holmes and family and cannot recommend them highly enough , your loved one is in very safe hands.

Over a week has passed since my partners funeral, something I certainly never thought I would have to think about.
From our first contact with Tracy, we felt secure in the knowledge that my partner would be in safe hands. We used Holmes & Family for the planning of my father's funeral. This was the first time I've needed to do this so did not know what to expect.
My main dealings were with Oliver. He was so helpful, courteous, professional and knowledgeable and that made everything incredibly smooth and easy to arrange. Being Sikh there were some traditions we needed to do, all of which were done with the upmost respect.

From initially meeting you at the Care Home in the middle of the night, through to meetings and emails to prepare and finally on the day of the funeral, your service was sensitive and professional. In particular, on the day, Lee looked so smart and was very kind as he led your team. The cars were spotless. The Obitus photo tribute was excellent and the final music came in at exactly the right moment. It all felt very honouring of my Dad (and he would have loved it!).
