I cannot speak highly enough of Oliver, Lisa and the rest of the team, they showed kindness,understanding,support, and they went above and beyond to help me and my family give my wife Sharon the funeral she deserved.Oliver and his team showed how professional they were in a difficult time. I chose Holmes and Family for my wife's funeral after researching several local funeral directors and decided that I would prefer a family-run independent one, rather than one owned by a large group. I was not disappointed, and was very pleased with the service that I received, from my initial phone enquiry to being dropped off at the wake.
Claire at Sandhurst was very kind and patient in organising everything. Oliver Holmes was very dignified and respectful when he collected my wife and throughout the funeral too, nothing seemed too much trouble.
I couldn't have asked for more and would certainly highly recommend Holmes and Family.

Tracey and the team at Holmes & Family in Staines recently managed the service to cremate my father - they did a fabulous job - firstly in helping to decide what we wanted to pay tribute to Dad. They expeditiously organised all of the details of the ceremony including providing the excellent celebrant, Hayley Pickering. Great communication throughout and then on the day Oliver and the team were incredibly attentive to our needs and wishes, and helped us to ensure that the day was all about Dad. I would strongly recommend.

Claire treated us with genuine kindness and patience and nothing ever felt like too much trouble.
They looked after my dad with great dignity and respect and knowing he was in safe, caring hands brought a lot of comfort when we needed it the most.
The service itself was exactly what we hoped for. Everything ran so smoothly and we didn’t have to worry about the details because it was all taken care of.

The team at Holmes and family were so professional, supportive and kind throughout, I can't recommend them highly enough. Lisa made the whole process as straight forward as possible. When we first met with her we had little idea of what to expect or what we wanted but she listened to us and made suggestions without any pressure. On the day, things couldn't have gone better. Lee and his team were so kind and gave my mum such a respectful and dignified burial. The vicar that Lisa arranged for us provided a perfect service and the flowers were gorgeous. Thank you!

We visited five funeral homes in Ashford and the surrounding areas, as it was so important to us that our Dad received the very best send off. Choosing Holmes & Family was an easy decision, and I’m so glad we did!
From our very first meeting, Tracey was kind, patient, and incredibly supportive. It’s impossible not to like her when you first meet her. Nothing ever felt rushed, and no request seemed too much…Tracey always found a way to make things happen. She was transparent about costs throughout, gave honest guidance, and her communication was always clear and prompt.
The office feels calm and welcoming, and the chapel of rest is beautifully decorated. The hearse was spotless and looked brand new. And the bespoke flowers arranged through Tracey were absolutely beautiful!
On the day itself, Tracey, Ben, the pallbearers and the hearse driver were outstanding. They went above and beyond our expectations, and Ben showed such genuine respect towards our Dad.
We will never forget the care and compassion shown to our family during such a difficult time. I cannot thank Tracey and her team enough and would highly recommend them.

Tracey was absolutely amazing. She showed so much patience and kindness throughout the entire process. I viewed other funeral directors but finally decided on her and I’m glad I did. Oliver and Tracey were incredibly kind, patient, and professional while looking after my husband Kam and our family during such a difficult time. We never felt rushed or like “just a number,” and their compassion made an unbearably hard experience so much more manageable.

We lost our baby boy suddenly and unexpectedly at 25 days old. We were in shock and utterly devastated. None of our close friends or family had used a funeral director in the area, so we visited a number of companies to try and see who would be best to use. Originally we were going to use another company in Ashford, but I am so glad that, based on gut instinct, I gave Tracey a call. Tracey is absolutely amazing. She talked us through the process of collecting and caring for our son
. She was also very honest with us at every stage in terms of whether we should view his body, costs associated with his funeral, administrative issues etc. She really listened to what we were saying and was extremely patient. She quickly got a sense of who we were as parents and what we wanted for our son’s funeral. On the day itself, she attended the service alongside Lee. Lee was incredibly professional and did an amazing job of assisting us to give our son the best send off. We’re absolutely heart broken that we had to organise a funeral for our baby, but Holmes & Family made it as smooth and easy as possible. Tracey and Lee are a real credit to the organisation, and I would highly recommend their services for your loved ones.
