I rate Holistic Audiology 5 stars out of 5, for the genuine care and empathy shown, for listening to all my hearing loss concerns, and having some more pathways to better hearing other than just buying more expensive hearing aids. I've now been working with Viv a little while to improve my auditory processing capabilities, and very glad I chose her. It was very refreshing to get this level of care and see that it truly is holistic care. From assisted devices on PC, TV and new hearing aids, my life is so much better for having met her.
I presented myself to Holistic Audiology for a hearing assessment to establish a course of action for my hearing impediment.
Viviana Liou gave me a most comprehensive ear health and hearing tests using several assessment techniques. During the consultation I was impressed with Viviana's friendly and consultative process she followed to establish an agreed course of action to resolve my hearing issues.
I strongly endorse Viviana's consultative and evaluation methods of establishing a personal plan for her clients.

Holistic Audiology in Ferntree Gully was fantastic. Viv is very thorough, compassionate and takes the time to explain things. Having hearing issues since I was a child, grommets and so on, Viv had performed extra audio tests I had never been exposed to in 36 years of recurring issues (I am 39 now). She was able to identify another potential issue which, I will happily be going to see her again for this longer particular assessment.
I went home that night with a few tears to shed, finally realising other things were going on and wondering "Why did so many others miss this over the past 36 years? All they needed to do was a longer subjective interview, questionnaires, extra tests and understanding the person as a whole" But with someone as thorough and professional as Viv, I know there is hope now with what I can do with my hearing going forwards and also help improve my situation in personal and also my working environment as a Physiotherapist.
If anyone is requiring audiology, attend Holistic Audiology in Ferntree Gully, you won't be disappointed. Thank you Viv for applying the basics that had seemed to be missed for 36 years for my particular case. I am very thankful for the service.

We are so grateful for Vivana. She really goes above and beyond to help you with your problem, make you feel comfortable during the treatment and empowered to take care of your ears at home. She is just an amazing specialist and person - she is knowledgeable, compassionate, thorough and patient. My husband had blocked ears to the point of pain and no sleep, and Vivana was able to completely unblock them and relieve the pressure. My own ears were severely blocked and I felt a bit hopeless, but Vivana was very patient and gentle the whole time. We can't thank you enough!

Viv is an outstanding audiologist, I highly recommend her services. I have been wearing hearing aids for just under 10 years and had always used a well known local clinic, thinking that I was getting top quality care. My last set of hearing aids cost me over $7000 and didn't perform well, and after 2 years I was unfortunately seeking a more suitable set. I was not happy with the pricing offered to me by my previous clinic. I discovered Holistic Audiology and was very surprised at my first appointment with Viv with the far more detailed hearing tests that she did compared to the other provider that I had used for years. And when she was evaluating my needs, she did a lot more data collection on my hearing issues and lifestyle. I have just had my new pair fitted and she did substantially more testing when fitting them, plus a follow up a week later to assess the performance so far and to make any necessary adjustments. I thought I was getting top quality care at my previous clinic, but it wasn't until seeing Viv at Holistic Audiology that I have realised that I was not. Viv has made a huge impact on my quality of life as she has found the perfect hearing aids for me, and has adjusted them to fit my personal hearing issues and to maximise the technology that I have. I highly recommend Viv!
