Wir haben uns sowohl Fahrräder fürs Sightseeing in Hoi An ausgeliehen, als auch den Hai Van Pass von Hoi An nach Hue mit einem gemieteten Roller über Anh Khoa organisiert.
Die Räder waren wirklich nicht besonders. Das E-Bike durfte ich laut Aussage nicht mal schalten und die Gänge beim Mountainbike waren auch eher schlecht eingestellt. Zudem war das Rad enorm dreckig.
Wir haben bereits 4 Tage vor der Passfahrt persönlich Kontakt aufgenommen, um alles zu klären. Vor allem, ob wir zu zweit auf einem 50 cc Roller fahren dürften. Es hieß, dass sei kein Problem. Beim Abholen der Fahrräder haben wir auch nochmal an unsere Passtour am nächsten Tag erinnert, ja sei alles organisiert, wir sollen einfach morgens kommen.
Haben wir gemacht und der Mitarbeiter meinte dann, eine Person pro 50 cc Roller und wusste von nichts Bescheid, es hat gedauert bis alles geklärt war. Eine Adresse wo wir in Hue unser Gepäck wiederbekommen gab's zunächst auch nicht. Wir haben nach einigem hin und her dann einen Roller für uns beide bekommen, jedoch ein echt schlechtes Modell, was bereits vor dem Pass zicken beim Starten gemacht hat und auch die Adresse wurde uns noch geschickt.
Am Ende war es überhaupt kein Problem den Pass zu zweit mit dem 50 cc Roller zu fahren und es hat am Ende auch insgesamt alles funktioniert. Die Kommunikation und Fahrzeuge waren nur leider nervig.

So good for getting around Hoi an - & most travel insurers will cover you for accidents, unlike the scooters/motorbikes.

This place had the exact scooter I was looking for. A nice and relatively new Honda ADV 160 for a premium touring experience. I had a great time riding with my partner around in Hoi An. I recommend you rent from here. They also had a hotel pick up service too!

Rented e- pushbikes for a month while based at An Bang. Pedal assist as well as throttle boost made for pleasant rides anywhere even in the heat wave we experienced , including through the old town. Battery charge is longlasting, needing infrequent charging- best to check with hotel if they will allow charging as you need the bike to be near a powerpoint- if not, can exchange bikes at the shop as needed. Highly reccomended- great company to deal with.
