We arrived late after a 9 hour drive with lots of traffic jams, kitchen was closed but they made something (very mice) to eat for us. Couldnt get the app for charging the Tesla going, they made it possibl to charge the car overnight anyhow. These people go the extra mile. This makes us very thankful and appreciate the hospitality even more. The spirit of the people in this hotel on how to help when needed is generous.
Højslev kro is a country-side Inn in the best Danish tradition. It has a lot of stairs, small hallways and small rooms and that is a part of its charm. It is cozy, and the hosts are very friendly - I felt right at home and slept like a log.
The menu-card has many courses that I would really like to try. I will come back soon.
