Excellent service and useful way to travel. They delivered the device to a local grocery where I was staying so getting it was easy, and all I had to do was drop it in a mail box to return it. It enabled me to make calls, send messages, and use GPS for less per day than my phone company charges for international service.
I was very satisfied with the Hippocket WiFi in my last visit to Paris the last week of May. I have used their services 3 times already in Europe (and will continue to do so in my travels) and never had any issues. My friends were happy that we had a wifi while on the go. I charge the gadget at night and it lasted the whole day. I chose to receive and ship the gadget from the USA and delivery was fast.
I really hoped this would be the solution I was looking for to allow me to spend more time in France whilst keeping on top of work and contact with the office. The communication was great, can't fault that. However my device was sent out with a software setting not enabled. As it was bank holiday in France, I lost a day's use whilst I waited for them to get in touch. When they did, it was fixed quickly.
Speed tests have me 90mb+ downloads which was great. But the network was unstable - great connection for 30 mins, then it would drop to 3g. Quite often I would lose it entirely. I ended up sending it back a day early. My phone had 5g in the same location throughout but is limited to 12gb data a month whereas I hoped this would give me 15gb a day.
The network was F Bouyges Tel, which I didn't know ahead otherwise I would have checked what their coverage was like. That said , I had long periods of 5g so not sure what was up.
Can't fault the customer service but for me, this was not the solution I had hoped for.

After correcting this though, you let us know the pocket wifi was working despite being unstable at times, and our technical team could see data usage every day on the device, so we assumed you didn't need assistance anymore. Used pocket wifi even though we had international service on our phones as we had a kindle, iPad and computer with us also. Sometimes it was better than the hotel wifi. We drove a lot and wanted to make sure we had a good wifi signal.

Wonderful Service! I used their product for Belgium it was easy flawless and made my trip so much easier. Service was available everywhere I traveled trains,underground all of the locations I entered. They sent to my hotel it was there when I arrived easy to use small light weight. Perfect product I would use again. They were also available with any questions and followed up with on how everything was working. It was impressive and reasonably priced.

Wonderful experience. Ordered the unlimited package for Europe. Our connectivity was great in the Netherlands, Germany, France, Switzerland and Italy. No problems whatsoever. The battery life was very good and lasted all day. We will definitely use again.
Prompt delivery to the US and device worked through all our travels in France, which is what we paid for. Return was also easy. I've now used this company three times in different European countries and it has worked as promised.

J'ai utilisé ce service plusieurs fois lors de mes voyages en France mais j'ai depuis trouvé des formules beaucoup moins chères avec E-sim. J'ai donc arrêté d'utiliser le pocket wifi trop encombrant, trop contraignant et surtout trop cher.
