Excellent service and honesty from Tom at Hinding Company! He came the same day our system died and cleaned the outdoor condenser coil to ensure we actually needed a new unit vs just a long overdue cleaning. Once a replacement was confirmed, he listened to the issues with our old system and customized the new equipment sizing to address those specific concerns. Tom recommended exactly what we needed rather than what we wanted, saving us a lot of money. His installation crew, Ryan and Oscar, were professional, fast, and completed everything in a single day. Our multi-level home has never cooled this evenly, our upstairs bedrooms are finally comfortable, and the system is incredibly quiet. Five stars!

Amazing company. Was able to come quickly and install both a furnace and air conditioner. They also automatically filled in the rebate information for Xcel Energy very knowledgeable and trustworthy highly recommend and a very fair price!!

My A/C died Friday night. I started calling repair companies Saturday Morning at 8 am. I tried 4 other companies, none of whom offered Saturday service (though I think that was the fault of the answering service in one case).
Then I reached Tom at Hinding Heating & Air. It was much simpler to not have to talk to an AI or answering service. Tom was able to come out and make the repair before 11 am, so we are now back in A/C comfort.
Dealing with a smaller business, like Hinding, made for a more personal, comfortable experience. I highly recommend them.

Amazing service! I called with an emergency issue, although an extremely minor repair. I was fixed up and ready to go same day, which I absolutely did not expect in the middle of a massive heat wave! Let me start by saying I really like these guys! When my furnace went out, I called another company to come take a look. After it was condemned due to a safety issue, I was panic calling trying to get it replaced. I got a hold of Ryan at Hinding and finally felt like I was dealing with a straight shooter who had my best interest in mind. Ryan laid out multiple solutions to my issue with different price points, pros/cons and timeline. Ryan even came out on a Saturday morning to confirm the job would run smooth. I really put my trust in this crew and it paid off. If you’re looking for this type of service and don’t want the run around all at a reasonable cost, I highly recommend Hinding for quality service. Oh! And they left my basement cleaner than they found it, the easiest 5 stars.

We used Hinding as our boiler was making noise. Ryan was so professional, on time, and good to our dogs. We have a wacky system throughout the house with all the radiators and he and Tim solved the mystery in our 1950’s house and were so responsive. Can’t recommend them enough! They also bleed radiators and do a fall check up before the season! Don’t ever hesitate to use them:)

Hey, I don’t usually do reviews, so it’s gotta be good if I do. Extremely great service, trustworthiness, knowledge and great positive vibe. Ryan came out of his way to service our house. He took it Upon himself to not just do the job but to go above and beyond. He pointed out areas of improvement that he could do took the time to explain what he’s doing and how to operate the equipment. I guess I’m used to people just coming out and doing a job grunt a few words and rush off to the next one. This is definitely not the case here. This my new go to for heating and cooling. Highly recommend this local small business. I have used them for service in the past, always knowledgeable and fair priced. I had them replace my furnace this morning and it went quickly and smoothly. They are always on time and put down tarps to protect my flooring. Straight shooters, give them a shot if you need service or replacement of furnace or AC, I won't use anyone else!

I wish there was 6 stars! These guys have helped me out over the years. Forced air and hydronic heat. They are well versed in both. You can't go wrong with a local St Paul company that has been around for almost 100 years!
