This group was professional and great to work with. I was there several times during this project to work with the team. They wanted to make sure we were getting everything we wanted in the final project. Took into consideration the next steps of flooring and future plans. Will use them again for sure.
Highland Hearth & Fireplace did a wonderful job with our new fireplace project. From design to project completion, Terry, Kerry, Dave, Ben and Thomas were a pleasure to work with. Communication was excellent throughout the process. The construction team was punctual, pleasant, and skilled. Both indoor and outdoor working areas were kept clean and protected. They competently dealt with some unforeseen issues when working on our old house and added some nice features to our design. Their attention to detail on the interior and exterior was greatly appreciated. We love our new fireplace!
Terry, Kerry, Ben & Thomas are absolutely ROCK STARS! I cannot recommend them highly enough....they are respectful and thorough and extremely professional (and I must say, Terry has an amazing sense of humor!!!!!). The wood-burning fireplace is my favorite part of my house; it's an essential thing for me. This year I learned the flue needed replacing after cleaning. We went with a wood-burning insert (I didn’t want a gas insert but that’s what companies are pushing). Highland Hearth’s owner, Terry, was a Godsend in reviewing options with me and costs. He answered all my questions and was beyond patient, even though I missed one of our schedule appointments – sorry Terry). From Mary Beth in the office handling scheduling and answering questions, to Kerry and Ben (the installation team who were beyond professional, courteous, and knowledgeable), Terry’s team got the insert and new liner installed in little time even with the chaos and obstructions hidden behind my chimney’s bricks. The insert is incredibly efficient, providing us with that real chimney: the crackling wood and scents of a good fire. Incredible service, incredible staff, and amazing prices. I highly, highly recommend Highland Hearth for anyone’s fireplace/wood stove needs.

I have never paid for any services or goods with this company. That is because the would not take payment from me for the goods that they gave me free of charge. Another local fireplace insert dealer had neglected to give me some material that went along with my insert for a realistic glowing ember effect. When I inquired about it the dealer told me I must have vacuumed them up!!. I refused to go back there because of all the problems I had with them -Southtowns Fireplace . I walked into Highland and they gave them to me for free. I'm very sorry that I didn't wait for their busy schedule to fit me in. Live and learn.

I would highly recommend Highland Hearth. They came and looked at our old fireplace and listened to what we wanted. Cary and Randy were great to have in our house. They worked hard and efficiently. They cleaned up after themselves better than I would have. The mantle was exactly what I wanted. If you want work done in your house this is the place to go.

We had an awkward cast iron stove (with a difficult floor plan to work with) and wanted to remove it and install a gas insert fireplace. We shopped around for a few years and no one could really give us a plan on how to go about doing this. Highland not only gave us a plan but helped us to create a fireplace that looked like it had been built with the house. They matched the mantle legs to the original wood support posts of the stair railing in our 100 year old house. Their materials and workmanship are excellent! And the surprising thing was after having looked into doing this for a few years, they were not more expensive than their competitors-
