I’d reached out to schedule an estimate but we ended up getting the door fixed with another company faster. I called and told them I didn’t need to schedule an estimate and they said okay and thank you. Now I am constantly spammed with texts about service schedules for other addresses and people. I also got a call about weather seal estimates, which I never contacted or asked for weeks later.
We are truly sorry. After seeing your review, we looked into what happened and discovered that your phone number was mistakenly added to another active customer’s profile in our system. Because of our mistake, you were receiving automated appointment notifications intended for someone else, which explains the texts about other names, addresses, and service appointments.
We completely understand how frustrating and confusing that must have been, especially after you had already called us and let us know that you no longer needed an estimate. From your perspective, it absolutely would have looked like we continued contacting you and spamming you after you specifically asked us not to.
That is not the experience we ever want someone to have with Heston Door Service, and we sincerely apologize. We are not a company that believes in hounding people with sales calls or unsolicited messages, and we’re disappointed that our mistake made it appear that way.
We have corrected the issue, removed your number from the other customer’s profile, and addressed what happened internally. Again, we are genuinely sorry for the frustration we caused, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention so we could find the problem and fix it.

Worked with the Heston Door team as our neighborhood security gate’s operators and call box were antiquated. From initial visit, assessment, and proposal, through to install, it’s clear Heston Doors is a top notch operation. Most importantly after the checks were cashed, they continued to offer the same level of service. Jason from Heston Door Service came out today to provide an estimate for replacing our garage door opener, rails, and hardware, and I’m extremely impressed with the experience. Just a few days ago, we had another company come out for a $29.95 “tune-up,” but they didn’t adjust the rollers and quickly pushed a full replacement, quoting us $1,800 for a new motor and system.
Jason took a completely different approach. He did a thorough inspection, explained how everything was functioning, and walked me through what actually needed attention. He pointed out that the door spring should have been adjusted during the previous visit and made it clear that our system is still in good shape. Instead of upselling, he recommended a proper spring adjustment, which was all we truly needed to get things working smoothly and safely.
I really appreciated how he took the time to explain things in plain terms and answer my questions without any pressure. His honesty and professionalism were genuinely refreshing, especially after being told we needed a full replacement just days earlier. It’s clear he cares about doing what’s right for the customer, not just making a sale.
I wouldn’t hesitate to call Heston Door Service again and highly recommend Jason to anyone looking for trustworthy, knowledgeable garage door service.

Jason from Heston just left. He did a great job. Turns out the torsion springs just needed adjustment. He did that, plus corrected some stuff that had been done incorrectly by others on the original garage door opener installation. Price was way more reasonable than expected, based on previous experience with other garage door outits. Now I can quit worrying about the poor spring action potentially causing problems with the motor, belts, etc on the garage door opener. I am very happy.

One of my garage door springs broke Sunday night. I called Heston Monday morning and spoke with Brad. He quickly analyzed the issue and told me he could have a tech at my house in the early afternoon. He also gave me a cost estimate for the work. I received a text telling me when my tech, David, would arrive. David arrived on time, discussed a few options for the repair and then got to work. I was impressed at how quickly and efficiently he worked. When he was finished, he explained everything he had done and what I could do to keep the spring and hinges lubricated.
