An absolutely perfect evening. We went for our anniversary celebration. The staff, led by Aysh, took such good care of us. We started with the dips appetizer and it was huge! Each one tasted better than the next, with the most fluffy and delicious pita bread. But then our entree arrived. We splurged and shared the Just the Two of Us - featuring a seemingly endless display of chicken and lamb variations. This had to be some of the best food we have ever eaten. Perfectly cooked and seasoned, lamb ribs, skewers, chicken, wings, it just went on and on with the fluffiest white rice we've ever eaten. At the end, the staff surprised us with an anniversary dessert of chocolate cake and baklava. We felt so lucky have found this beautiful restaurant with the most welcoming and exceptional staff. Thank you, Ashe, for going above and beyond and making us feel so special. I wish this kind of first class service and food for everyone!
Staff Aysha from Opuz Hemel is very attentive and such a big help in deciding which food you should try. She really knows the menu by heart. Atmosphere is great too. 🥰

Had an absolutely lovely meal in Opuz Hemel. The atmosphere was great, the staff were polite and looked after us like royalty. Special shout out to Rinata who was amazing all evening.

Was looking for some where to eat for lunch on my own stopped to look at the menu, looked so inviting i decided I would try it. Food absolutely fantastic and staff so friendly i wasn't conscious about eating alone at all. They happily packed up what i couldn't eat and got a free coffee!! Amazing. Will be my new place to eat from now on!.
I had a wonderful lunch here and couldn't fault the experience. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and made us feel well looked after from start to finish.
The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely lunch. Great value for money, excellent service, and delicious food—I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to visiting again.

We had an impromptu family gathering at Opuz today. My mum doesn’t live locally, my brother travelled from Watford, and me, my husband and son live in Hemel. As we met in town as it closed, we decided to give Opuz a try for the first time (my brother had been to the Watford one previously & recommended).
As we dropped by and were waiting for me brother, we stood outside and looked at the menu, when we asked if they could cater to 5 people without a booking, at short notice, the staff were extremely hospitable. We were invited to wait for my brother to arrive immediately at our table by a really friendly front of house Mahmut.
We were on a bit of a budget so decided not to go with starters, and even then they brought us out the most delicious fresh and piping hot bread, with a garlic dip, and a chilli tomato dip. They were absolutely delicious! The chilli dip blew me away and when I told the staff they need to bottle it and sell it, they kindly gave me a takeaway box for the leftover bread at our table and more pots of sauce!
As we had my 8 year old son with us, their children’s menu is affordable and very suited to children. My son normally doesn’t like restaurants and he really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere (especially when a cocktail for another table came out with dry ice!).
The waiting staff were fantastic. We had a very attentive waitress Rojena and other waitresses whose names I didn’t manage to get. The service is second to none. Constantly on the ball to a very high standard.
Our main meals were just fabulous. The open kitchen is so fun to watch! The food is exemplary in the fact it’s simple, hearty, healthy, and has huge portions. The simplicity of delicious smoky food is second to none, especially as it’s executed so well. I had the mixed seafood skewer and it was delicious. What’s more exciting is that I can’t wait to come back to try something else.
We left no meat on the table - I was so stuffed and ashamed I left a few veggies as a sacrifice… next time I know to come hungrier!
After dinner, I was desperate to have a Turkish coffee as they’re so rare to find outside of London I find, and persuaded the other adults to have one too. We had four Turkish coffees (you order with or without sugar) and my gosh… I would come to this restaurant just for these, especially as a remote worker! What’s even nicer is that Mahmut heard it was our first time here and gave us the coffee on the house!
One thing about Turkish coffee is that the grounds are in the base of the cup and I neglected to tell my mum that before she got to that part so we were in fits of laughter when she had black teeth momentarily.
This is honestly the best restaurant experience I’ve had in a long time.
Amazing food, wonderfully attentive people, a great and friendly atmosphere, really good prices, great portions, and Mahmut & Rojena were exceptionally attentive. Thank you to all the staff for such a great impromptu family dinner. We will be booking my Mum’s birthday meal here in a few weeks because it was that good and we want to come back asap!

The ladies were also great, but Mahut was more than great.
