I wish I could give Holly Brooks more than five stars. From our very first conversation, Holly did something I honestly had not experienced throughout this entire process: she truly listened. She didn’t just hear the facts of my case; she heard me. She took the time to understand what I had been through, what mattered most to me, and what I was trying to protect. After our conversation, Holly sent me an incredibly detailed email recapping my situation and explaining the issues we discussed in a way that I could actually understand. I was amazed by how much she remembered. It showed me that while I was talking, she wasn’t simply waiting for her turn to respond—she was paying attention. What impressed me even more was her honesty. She didn’t make promises or tell me only what I wanted to hear. She explained both the strengths and potential challenges of my situation and made sure I understood what I could realistically be facing. That level of transparency meant a lot to me after everything I have experienced. Unfortunately, after already spending a significant amount on legal fees, I simply cannot afford to retain her services right now. Even after I told Holly that, her compassion did not change. There was no pressure or coldness. She encouraged me, wished me well, and made it clear that she would be there if and when I was ready. That says everything about her character. While I cannot afford her services at this time, Holly was truly a breath of fresh air during what has been the most horrific time of my life. For the first time in a long time, I walked away from a conversation about my divorce feeling heard, understood, informed, and like someone genuinely cared about what happened to me. Holly, thank you for your compassion, your honesty, your attention to detail, and most importantly, for treating me like a human being and not just another case or potential client. Hecht Family Law has an absolute gem in Holly Brooks. If my circumstances were different, there would be no question who I would want in my corner. Five stars without hesitation.

My experience with Hatch Law Firm was extremely disappointing. I was referred to attorney Jacqueline Rodríguez by a lawyer friend and scheduled a consultation, making it clear from the beginning that I wanted to discuss a sensitive family law matter in Spanish. I was told my appointment would be with the attorney in Spanish. Instead, I received a call from Gerald Kimball, who told me that the only person in the firm who speaks Spanish is the attorney, and that I would have to pay500 dollars for a one-hour consultation to speak with her. This was never disclosed when I scheduled. If I had known that from the start, I would not have wasted my time or taken time off work. What made the experience even worse was the rude and unprofessional attitude during the call. If your firm uses a legal team to do pre-consultations but can’t provide bilingual staff or even offer that option to Spanish-speaking clients, that’s a serious failure in customer service.

He listened to my concerns, made recommendations,and contacted the insurance company on my behalf. Within a few weeks the issue was resolved in my favor saving me over $120,000. I would recommend this firm and Kyle to anyone needing legal advice. .

About 10 years ago I went through my divorce with my ex and Ed was my ex-husband's attorney. He walked us through everything, so we both understood everything. And I called him 7 years later to ask him a question not only did he remember me, he was able to answer my question for me. I would definitely recommend hecht family law.
