They arrived right on time, were friendly, efficient, and handled everything with care. All of my belongings were kept safe throughout the move, and the whole experience was completely stress-free. Ana was very hands on and made sure I was taken care of every step of the way. She made sure I had all of the right paperwork and allowances from both buildings so the entire move would be seamless. Can't say enough good things about her. This was the first time I moved all by myself, and felt like I had a team with me. The crew was VERY nice and I felt like they really cared about my moving experience, making sure all of my items made it, and they handled everything with care. I even had a box break, and they caught it and made sure all of the delicate items were wrapped up again and secured the box. When I got into my apartment after they had moved everything in, I saw that they had taken such care to put everything in the place that it belonged (bathroom boxes in the bathroom, kitchen items near the kitchen, clothes by the closet). It really helped for when I needed to unpack. 10/10 recommend!!

I recently used their services for a move. The move was good I was happy with how everything was progressing until one of the workers particularly the only woman who was helping to pack. I believe her name was Lety, was very unprofessional not only was she constantly on the phone slowing down
the packing, she had the audacity to tell me about all her drama and how her and her ex or her husband I could not quite understand which. But he also works for this company. The company put these two on the same job at my house and you could feel and see the tension between them which made me and my family very uncomfortable. After everything this woman told us about their separation, cheating and so much more. I feel that the company should have gotten rid of one of these employees so that this situation doesn't happen to any one else. We are allowing people to come into our homes to help us, not to add to the stress we are already in with moving. If you decide to use Hart moving and storage take this into consideration so you are not put in the same scenario, my family and I were placed in, other than that, the move transitioned smoothly.
Heart Moving is one of the best moving companies I’ve ever worked with. I needed to schedule a move in a short time frame. Not only did they schedule me in on short notice, they were also super accommodating and helped to make my move smooth and effortless. Jane Lovely was super patient and not only helped me with the logistics of the move but checked in multiple times to make sure everything was okay. I can’t say enough about this company and I WILL be using them again.
Heart Moving is the BEST in the city. This is my second move with Mike and his team at Heart Moving, and I will never use another moving company. They first helped us with a cross-state move from Illinois to NYC a few years back. Then, recently, they moved us across town from an elevator building to a walk-up. Their team is careful, diligent, fast, and kind. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I worked with Ana and Jane on the logistics of my move. They were very thorough in ensuring that my entire inventory was accounted for, answered all of my questions, and made themselves available during all hours of the business day and during the day of my move.
My move was within Manhattan in the same postal code, from a walk up building to an elevator building. We had a mix of large furniture (mattress, nightstands, TV, arm chair, floor lamp, dressers, etc.) and 10+ boxes. They arrived on the dot at 9am and wrapped up their packing job within 45 minutes. It was seriously so impressive how they handled our small space and the stairs. They also brought their own packing materials to make sure that everything was protected in the move. As we wrapped up, they made sure to check if anything was left behind. Then, we headed to our new apartment. They brought up everything and even asked where we wanted boxes and furniture to be placed.
I seriously could not recommend Heart Moving any more, they were absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much to Ana, Jane, and the crew for making this the least stressful experience. I am over the moon happy to be in my new place with all my belongings. Everyone at Heart Moving is a pro.

The administrative worker, 'Jane' who sounded like she is based in the Phillipines, was the only positive aspect of my move from Heart Moving. As soon as the three movers arrived to my small UES studio apt & I tucked away into my bathroom to give them space, one of them put on very loud, explicit music and started talking/joking loudly in Spanish (which I understand)-- as though to show me they are the boss of my apartment & belongings. Even when I came out to get some water/coffee, the smack-talking continued by one mover in particular, as though to try to humiliate me in my own home. Though I was rubbed the wrong way by this behavior from the start, I held my tongue, hoping it was due to cluelessness rather than true disrespect for me. As the move progressed, and I assessed the boxes of my things and assessed my previous apartment, the signs of negligence and disrespect continued to multiply. First off, they banged into the brass hooks in my entryway wall, causing the plaster to give in and requiring coordination to have one of the workers 'repair' the issue which could have easily been avoided if they had removed the hooks from the start. Then, the boxes themselves were covered in so much of the cheap brown tape that my house keys could barely make a dent in breaking open the tape. I had many scissors and razors-- even one of which could have been left out for me to use for unpacking, but my best interests were at the bottom of their priority list. About 5 of the boxes were labeled very vaguely; most were not labeled. Apart from the mover who packed my dishes/glassware and books, all the other packing basically looked like stuff thrown into a box, including pointy/metal things on top of my leather knee boots, papers haphazardly under & on top of smaller plastic/metal office supplies. If the only requirements by the company's owner were to throw my stuff in a box, then I would have much preferred doing my own packing. One piece of jewelry missed my sight to grab ahead of time; this necklace made up of glass beads was somehow slammed in drawer or dropped on the floor and stepped on- at any rate, it was damaged, with beads remaining in my dresser drawers and on the floor where it had been. When I finally made my way to unpacking the last of the boxes, I saw that an old (over 5 years old) iPhone that I had in its box was missing. The box was there but not the phone. For me, this was the final straw. I contacted 'Jane' and stated that due to the multiple issues with the movers and the move-- from unprofessionalism from the first moment, to damaging a valuable item, to theft-- I wanted a full refund. I was told that 'only 60 % is covered by the city of New York'. What about the company which is RESPONSIBLE for the theft? The lack of accountability from Jane was surprising. When I then got a call back from the owner, as requested, he did not take ANY of my concerns seriously, and threatened me multiple times that he was recording the phone conversation and that I was trying to put him out of business. How about TAKING RESPONSIBILITY for the sub-standard work and failure to do a satisfactory job which I paid $880 (including tip) for? His instant accusations of me and zero accountability proved to me that his business model is shady, from start to finish. His eastern European accent and need to tell me he was recording me made me think of the corruption happening non-stop in Ukraine. This company does not respect women, Americans, American values such as respect, decency, honesty and integrity. Do not hire them. They are being reported to whatever organizations need to know about their sub-par business practices-- AKA, theft.
