I went for the podiatrist but if I ever need glasses I'll go back. The podiatrist was great, the treatment was very good as was the advice and we chatted about running, aging and the effect each has on the other. I'll go back if needed and wouldn't recommend this service to anyone needing it
I've been here twice and the staff has been extremely helpful and knowledgeable on both occasions. I also found their store to be a pleasant and welcoming experience. I plan to return here in the future for everyday eye needs and for my next set of lenses.

Well ! If I’m honest I’m disappointed in Hb opticians as I have used them for a long time but maybe it’s time to go elsewhere !
I enquired before Xmas 2024 if there were any eye test appts on a Saturday as I work quite far away during weekday working hours The lady I spoke to was very polite and said that the diary was not open for 2025 and took my details and said would be in touch !!!!!
I have left telephone msg’s and even filled in an online appt form but still no reply from Hb opticians ? This is not good ? So can only assume they don’t want my business as they have not replied . So it looks like if you want a sat appt , go elsewhere ! Unfortunately I’m not in a position to take time off through weekdays for an eye test or have the luxury of being retired or being my own boss ? In this day/age sat working is normal even if it is a staggered diary or time for appts
The 2 stars are for the lady who spoke to me and not the follow up that should have been done
Popped in a few weeks ago on the off chance they maybe able to repair my sunglasses. Gemma took on the challenge with gusto and did a cracking job with my extremely awkward sunnies! Finding the parts to fit was no easy task but she did it!
Thanks to your determination, I was able to wear them whilst on holiday!

I contacted HB Opticians when they came up on a Google search for local RayBan repairs. They asked me to call in with my sunglasses and they would take a look to see if anything could be done. I called in and spoke to Gemma, she went above and beyond to get the new parts needed to repair them and as luck would have it there was no charge! I am absolutely delighted with the service from this company and my husband and I plan to support this local company for all our future eye care needs. 1st class service !!
