I came in with my own frames i told then i wanted to put my own prescription in them they took and sent then and didn't proceed to send a text message i then went in and then they said we have an option check to see if they fit when i didn't get them from the shop. Its pretty bad how there needs to be an optician to check then when the frames were not bought from the store. I have a previous experience and they got back to me within days.

Gemma and her team are so friendly, very knowledgeable and have a great selection of glasses to choose from!

Great service as always, I came in today with broken glasses and they were fixed within an hour! Always very friendly and efficient at HB Opticians, having been with them for over 10 years, can confidently say I would never think about switching. Great service and Gemma also fixed a pair of Gucci Sunglasses for me which was a nice touch.

Absolutely brilliant experience from the lovely optician who allayed my fears about my eyesight to the assistance who helped me choose my new glasses and measured everything carefully so my glasses would be right, to the interest free monthly repayments over 3 months which is brilliant as glasses can cost a lot but they are needed. I would recommend them to anyone

James was very professional and went above and beyond in our consultation, recommending several treatments for ear cleaning while giving lots of background information about ear health.

Great opticians. Bought replacement specs there around a year ago; Daniel was brilliant. Wouldn’t now go anywhere else.

Eye test for my 11 year son, handled brilliantly by the optician, new glasses needed, they really helped guide him to pick some great frames, then great fitting today and a happy son

Prompt service and friendly staff

James provided a great service when I visited him last week . As an audiologist he was very professional, informed and took the time to explain the procedure, checked I was comfortable and the procedure was painless. I would thoroughly recommend James .

Gemma cancelled our appointment which we waited for one month without our notice, but insisted that we cancelled but we did not , really annoying. When I wanted to talk a manager for this poor service, Gemma advised she is the manager and she picked up the phone which cancelled our appointment from us, like a joke. Anyway, we have to walk away.

I visited HB Opticians on Broadway today. After years of feeling ripped off and given a poor service by large high street opticians, Hubby and I decided to support local. I would absolutely 100% recommend HB Opticians to everyone. I booked online and was sent reminders about my appointment by text. The staff are excellent. Friendly and knowledgeable. I'd particularly like to recommend the Practice Manager, Dan, whose advice and product knowledge was exceptional. There was no being rushed or feeling like you were being up sold, just excellent personal attention. Their prices are competitve and they have deals and payment plans available. Added to which, I was given the opportunity to see the range of other services they offer which include audiology, podiatry, physiotherapy and a sizeable beauty salon. All services can be booked online at fresha.com I can't believe we've never used them before but it's been a while since I was so impressed by a business and its customer service.
