Perfect little getaway, the site is beautiful and peaceful. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into every little detail, including providing dressing gowns and slippers. The hamper provided was so cute. The lodge was really aesthetic we were particularly pleased with the Christmas tree.

Great hosts, very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay on the kingfisher the hot tub and the new edition of the love nest made it all the more amazing. The boat is brilliant with everything you need to keep your stay very comfortable. The breakfast hamper was delicious. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to take the boat out in the warmer days.

Perfect Peace
Fabulous couple of days in a wonderful, peaceful setting. The cabin (Owl) was absolutely amazing. Very comfortable and extremely cozy especially as the cabin had all the Christmas decorations up, including the tree! These extended into the woodland as well, lots of twinklies outside! Wonderful. The property was well equipped and very clean. We, (there were 6 of us), took advantage of hiring a private chef for the first night and had the most delicious meal, it was excellent!!! Thank you Sarah! I cannot recommend this place enough if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful few days R&R.

For us it worked amazingly well and from the amazing feedback we have received from the gang it seems like it worked really well for you all as well. We've always been a bit wary of taking group bookings in the past but our experience with you all means we are much more open to it in the future. I could hardly have gone better. We luckily won this in a very generous give away on social media! We arrived to a gorgeous, incredibly clean lodge/cabin - could not fault the cleanliness whatsoever, it looked brand new. The bed was very comfy and we had a little lavender spray which was a really sweet touch! The robes and slippers were a lovely addition & we felt very welcome.
The facilities were great, heating fantastic as we came in November - although once we lit the log burner we turned the heating off as it was so warm! The kitchen facilities also great, the breakfast hamper was perfect with more than enough items for us and as a vegetarian it was really lovely that they included vegetarian sausages for me. We had booked the bbq cabin, but decided to eat in the lodge (just what we fancied after a coffee in the hot tub!). We used the sauna and steam room, which did confuse us at first as we couldn’t find the steam room but Ronnie called us as we hadn’t arrived at our slot and he directed us & set it all up. All I would say is the sauna takes a while to warm up as it’s a log burning one and you only have 45/60 minutes so it would be great to know if this is lit for you before or if you’re allowed to turn up prior to get it ready! (Not a fault at all, we should have enquired beforehand ☺️). When we arrived it was dark & looked absolutely beautiful with all the lights, truly magical. We didn’t use the day bed to utilise the outdoor cinema as this wasn’t set up - but I assume this is due to the storm beforehand & being absolutely freezing (2 degrees!) so we wouldn’t have used this anyway in this weather. We were happy watching tv on the sofa/in bed with the log burner. Hot tub was perfect, ready to use and a lovely view of the outdoor lights with the sound of all the animals in the trees.
We would 100% recommend coming here for a quiet break. We have a 4yr old & a non-sleeping 9 month old so it was JUST what we needed to completely relax & get some well needed sleep. Thank you both so much for this stay.

The most magical and relaxing overnight stay - escaping from our busy lives to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary this hidden cabin with join was amazing . We stayed in owl lodge and had everything we needed. Who knew one night could help you escape and relax. Felt like we had been away longer. Nice little touch having a love heart door sign with our names on xx recommended to our friends already and will defo look to book again

This is our 8th time here and it’s still has magical has the first ! It’s our only place where we can switch off , down to the grounds that come alive in the dark the peaceful sounds of birds whilst relaxing in the hot tub . Love all the finishing touches and how welcome we are made to feel !! Highly recommend the cinema outside it was amazing! Watching the sunset with a hot chocolate having time in the bq pit cooking tea together! Roasting marshmallows on the fire pit having a couples sauna watching the ducks on the lake !! Too much to remember but love the relationship we have with ronnie and Jo what an amazing couple until next time ❤️Maria and miles

Just returned from a 2 night stay in Owl
lodge. We had the most amazing stay. The lodge was so peaceful and tranquil, clean with all the necessary facilities. We had a breakfast pack which had everything needed for a lovely breakfast. The hot tub was amazing, private, clean and ideal for relaxing.
Each morning we were greeted by the chickens waiting to say hi on the decking.
We booked a couples pure indulgence package with Shelley and her colleague. My massage was one of the best I’ve had, just the right firmness and it was so relaxing. I also experienced my first reiki session which was amazing.
The hosts are fantastic. We had an issue with the WiFi on arrival but this was resolved quickly and efficiently and we had a lovely chat one of the nights.
We can’t wait to go back!
