My elderly mother was having issues with her power tripping out, Marcus from Mountstephens electrical came out within a few hours and resolved the problem. Brilliant communication - called me on his way and checked exactly what needed doing, which is perfect as mum didn't understand the issue. Didn't just replace things unnecessarily and I thought the invoice was very reasonable.

We have used Andrew and his team on two projects, re-wiring a large Edwardian villa and a new-build outdoor entertaining suite / garden lighting. The quality of work and thoughtfulness has been excellent and we would have no hesitation in using them, again or recommending them to friends and neighbours. We have appreciated their advice when the solution was not readily apparent. It is so refreshing to work with a organisation that does what it says it will, for the price it quoted, at the time we agreed.

Highly recommended. Mountstephens were extremely helpful when I rang about our downstairs lights all going out, without the breaker tripping. They fitted me in within a few days, their electrician turned up promptly and was extremely polite. The wiring circuit was a little confusing but he quickly traced the fault to a burnt out ceiling rose - replaced and checked everything AOK. Tidied up and left and the bill was very reasonable. Couldn’t fault them, will definitely use again.

I use mountstephens electrical every time I need an electrician. They did a total rewire of my house when I moved in and I thought it would be chaos but they were so tidy and explained everything that needed doing. They were competitively priced for the work that needed doing too. I've had them back since to install heaters and again they did the job quickly with no mess despite having to lift floorboards! I won't use anyone else.
