Stopped by and has a Volka Expresso Martini with their new Mini Yeggs cream liquor. 🤤 Also, tried their Float My Boat (Root beer Volka and Oat Milk cream liquor). Again, 🤤 Stocked up with a few supplies.

We have received several bottles from Hansen distillery over the last few years for tasting purposes. Currently drinking the Northern Eyes 7 year whisky and the Northern Eyes Roughstock Reserve.
While I don’t specialize in rye whisky tasting, we have really enjoyed both of these bottles this winter.
I have used both whiskeys in smoked Old Fashioned cocktails, Rye and cokes as well as neat, and they both have great character and nuances.
Other bottles we have enjoyed include the Salted Caramel cream liquor, Gingerbread Cookie cream liquor, Morning Glory Chocolate Hazelnut cream liquor, Watermelon Gin, Mini Donuts cream liquor and more. Our coffees have been amazing with the cream liquors and the Gin varieties have been excellent for summer cocktails.
Overall the bottles from Hansen have been high quality, offering a nice variety of drinking experiences we have come to enjoy very much!

I visited Hansen Distillery during a trip to Edmonton. I stopped in specifically to try their spirits and view the distillery. Unfortunately I should have a booked a tour so I will do that next time but thought I would share that info here so you won't be disappointed.
While I didn't get a tour I did however have an amazing tasting experience. Their spirits were great and the cocktails as well. I also really appreciated the service. The bartender walked me through each spirit along with tasting notes and really spent some time with me which I appreciate.

Went to distillery to pick up some Alberta made liquor I tried at trade shows. They have a little bar there and I had a couple samples to decide what to buy and then enjoyed a cocktail. Service was great and so was drinks and I went back next week for another cocktail. Great relaxing atmosphere! And supporting Alberta. May take significant other next time. lol!
Best service I’ve received in a long time! Matt at Hansen Distillery went above and beyond — he was incredibly friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and made the whole experience unforgettable for our group. He took the time to share so much information while keeping it fun and engaging. We left not only with amazing spirits, but also with a real appreciation for the craft. Absolutely fabulous experience — we’ll definitely be coming back!
My friend and I went last night for a tasting tour and it was an awesome experience. The guy who took us on a tour was extremely informative and seemed to have a great answer for any question we had for him. You could tell that he was extremely passionate about the process and his enthusiasm showed it. After we were done we had some amazing cocktails and were able to try samples of all of there delicious liquors!! Not only was the experience extremely fun, but it was really informative and the drinks were top notch. I would highly recommend trying this experience with a partner or group of friends. You won’t be disappointed And it is a great way to get out of the house. 😊
Fantastic local distillery with so many excellent cocktail options. The old fashioned is worth it just for the theatrics!
When you stop in at Hansen's and order that first drink, or purchase a bottle.... You will experience the love of a family. Distilled by a family, embrassed by family!!
4 of us went for the tour! It was a fun evening, met some new friends.
Drinks were tasty! Could test try anything we wanted, my fave was the cranberry moonshine! Service was wonderful. Only 2 things I was meh about, was on the tour we got to look at pictures of machinery, they didn't have them.
The charcuterie board was definitely not worth the $30. The smores board was yummy though 😋 We would definitely come again, it is very nice in there.
