Ali and his team are very professional and do great work. I am an Aging Life Care Manager in the area and have worked with them three times now. Recently, they did bathroom updates for a client, including grab bars, toilet handrails, and new shower head with wand. They were very accommodating of our request to keep in mind the need to UNinstall mods later; or have them seamlessly fit the aesthetic. Heather in the office was very helpful, and Hunter worked efficiently on site. I will be happy to work with them again in the future.

We worked with HandyPro on making home modifications to allow aging in place in the context of limited mobility. We needed to make these modifications quickly because the disability arose suddenly. Ali was very quick to respond to my inquiry with a home consultation. He was thorough and obviously very knowledgeable about how to address my concerns. He gave a reasonable and fair estimate, making clear which of the modifications were highly recommended and which were more optional. Handypro was able to complete the work within a week. We were extremely pleased with the quality of the workmanship, and when I raised an unexpected issue that had arisen, Ali offered to address it at no additional cost. Ali and his staff were all extremely professional and responsive. I recommend them without reservation.

I can’t say enough good things about this company. In all my contacts, beginning with the office staff, to the complete and final chairlift installation by Hunter, their patience and professionalism is surpassed by none. Hunter arrived on time, installed the chairlift perfectly, and installed two wooden handrails where they were needed. His attention to detail was awesome and his cleanup was spotless. Basically, my total experience with HandyPro of Washington, DC was phenomenal! As a final thought, I feel like Hunter has to love his job because there must be instant gratification in his work as he can immediately see how he has improved the quality of life for seniors like myself and my roommate.

Handypro installed a chairlift for our daughter. The finished result was really impressive, far less unsightly and intrusive than we thought it might be. We were able to review schematics from a 3D rendering before making any final decisions on functionality/style/color etc. Our technician Hunter couldn’t have been more pleasant, patient and accommodating. I don’t write reviews but the service we received from Heather and team at Handypro was very professional and welcoming. Scheduling the installation for the stairlift was a breeze; everyone was so on point!!! Hunter, our technician was scheduled to come to our home at 9:00am, arrived promptly even a little earlier which is always a good sign. Hunter came ready to work. He was professional, neat, nice and knowledgeable. Explained everything as well as made sure we knew how to work the stairlift and was comfortable with it. Thank you Hunter and team at Handypro. We needed to have someone come to my sister’s house and evaluate it to see what needed to be done to make it handicap accessible. Ali came, walked the house and told us what needed to be done. We used all of his suggestions and one week later Victor came and did all of the work to make the home safe for my sister. This included grab bars in the shower, bathrooms, and railings for the stairs. All of the work was professionally done and just as important at a reasonable cost. I recommend them highly.

HandyPro worked with Habitat for Humanity to make changes to my bathrooms that allow me to age-in-place. Both the process and the crew were excellent. The crew arrived on time and cleaned up after themselves. The guys were professional and did an incredible job to convert my bathtub to a walk-in shower. I couldn't be happier with the results. Melissa communicated with me on a regular basis to let me know what to expect and if there were any changes. See the "before" and "after" photos. I would definitely work with HandyPro again!!
