Halcol have just installed a solar battery and replacement inverter. The team were on-time, professional, friendly, helpful and respectful. They spent plenty of time with us first on the right location for the battery, and then explaining the app and emergency shut down etc.

I would highly recommend going with Halcol Energy. It's a big investment so you want to go with people you can trust. Ours was a townhouse install so a little bit trickier than a house install (they needed a scissor-lift). 5 stars! Excellent
I have used Halcol for a number of purchases. The latest was to increase our battery by another 20 Kw. I would not think of using any other company. Highly recommended.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an outstanding experience with Halcol Energy installing our 13.2kW solar system and 40kW battery.
Nathan was fantastic—he asked all the right questions and designed an optimal system tailored to reduce our high electricity bills and give us reliable backup power (which is especially valuable on Bribie Island). Danielle provided great customer service, making sure everything was running perfectly after installation by remote monitoring the system with support from Goodwe.
Sam, Darcy and the team did a great job with the install, thoughtfully positioning the battery in the garage so it didn’t interfere with our car doors. They also patched up all the holes from the previous inverter. The colour-coded barriers were also a nice finishing touch and showed real attention to detail.
We got three different quotes and glad we went with Halcol as they offered the best value in terms of quality products and workmanship. The results speak for themselves—our electricity bill has dropped from over $300/month to around $25/month. We now have enough solar to power the house during the day, with battery backup for overnight and cloudy days.
They also made sure we secured the maximum solar rebate before the deadline changed, which was a big bonus, huge thanks to the owner Gary 😊.
Highly recommend Halcol Energy as they went above and beyond to ensure a happy customer experience—will definitely use them again for anything solar-related!

70 days after deposit paid, virtually no contact from the company and still no clues as to when the panels will be installed. Very unprofessional and only adding additional cost on our end. would love to rate the service but there seems to be none.

We have been a client of Halcol Energy for some years now. We started with the major replacement of our old solar installation in 2020 and yesterday they completed the installation of a Solaredge 20kW battery system and 10kW inverter, and expansion of the solar panels to suit our needs. Throughout this entire process we have been impressed with the timely advice, the knowledge, and the detailed technical support provided by Halcol Energy staff. The transition was smooth and the system is now complete. We have a quality installation completed by a professional group of guys, with the support of the rest of the Halcol Energy team. Halcol Energy has installed 24 solar panels and 24kwh battery for our house recently.
The service from the start was faultless. In giving our quote, Ali said to contact him any time, and I did, often! He really responded so professionally to my many requests for information. So impressed were we with him and the process that our 2 daughters also signed up for solar with him.
At short notice I changed my requirements in battery size and that was accommodated and a new quote issued promptly.
The installers arrived on schedule and were a pleasure to deal with. Ethan and his team went out of their way to organise last minute changes to panel layout that were necessary. Halcol immediately transported extra attachments that were required to us. They worked into the evening to ensure completion.
We could not be happier with the whole operation.
