Such a fabulous little gem. I attended the Scotties in the City Farewell event here.
So this is a private collection of buses, a few fire engines, and a DELOREAN!!! I found myself getting rather over excited at this discovery, immediately seeing Doc Brown and Marty McFly...
We enjoyed the fabulous Scotties, grabbed a great cuppa, and then got one of those fabulous buses back into the City. It took me straight back to my school holidays in the City of London with my Nanny Train, hopping on and off those routemasters on our adventures.
The whole place is run by volunteers and boy do they know their stuff. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
If you ever get the opportunity it's an absolute must do.
There's toilets and a cafe, it's accessible. There's nearby parking available limited to a few hours, it varies depending on the particular street. I used Duke Street Car Park, £6 for the whole day and a 25 minute walk away.
If you worked as a driver or clippie long time ago. this place is a must..my mum was a clippie..lots of great buses from days gone by..
Went to see the Scotties exhibition there today..
Had a great wee bus run on a vintage bus all around the city centre free..my wee granddaughter was amazed at the differences on the old buses..please give it a visit..

This venue, of which we hitherto we were unaware, blew us away with it's vintage collection of omnibuses from Glasgow and a few from further afield, along with some trucks and a few cars including a DeLorean from Shorts in Northern Ireland!
