Had Joe come out to repair my travertine tile. We had several cracks from the storm and was told by competitor companies that they could not repair tile and it would need to be replaced. Joe had several pieces of 18x18 tile repaired and you could never even tell it was broken. His bid was higher than the others but the workmanship was worth it. I have had so many compliments on the floor after he restored and sealed it - it has never looked this good the entire time living in the home. Thank you Joe.

Hurricane Helene flooded the 1st floor of our home, so our kitchen cabinets had to be removed. Luckily the contractor was able to save the granite counter tops. After installing new cabinets, I began calling fabricators to have the counters reinstalled. All those I called declined the job due to the difficulties of fitting existing tops to new counters,..and wanting to sell new tops. I then found Joe Pocello & Gulf Coast Surface Restoration! Joe was able to trim the counters to fit perfectly and repaired 4 breaks in the granite splash boards. All trimming, seams, and breaks were professionally done, and are completely unnoticeable! Joe’s knowledge of stone and their geologic formation is amazing. (He could teach courses on the subject.) He and his assistant, Mike, were very friendly, professional, & approachable. Their work was quick & efficient and the kitchen was immaculate when they left. The counters honestly looked better than when they were first installed, and Joe saved me thousands of dollars! He exceeded the 5 stars and I highly recommend Gulf Coast Surface Restoration!
Joe Porcello is truly a master of stone. He’s the stone whisperer. I received a marble table that was damaged in shipment with a gouge in the table top. Two other local companies said they couldn’t repair the table. Joe repaired the table, and you can’t even tell it was damaged! It looks better than new. He’s very professional and has good communication skills. He came to the house to repair the table and used drop cloths and plastic sheeting to protect the surrounding area from dust. The area was clean and neat after he finished the work. I highly recommend Joe for stone repair!
Joe, the owner, arrived promptly for the scheduled appointment to provide a quote for restoring a travertine floor and table. On the scheduled work date, he began right on time. The results far exceeded my expectations. Not only was his craftsmanship outstanding, but he also maintained an exceptionally clean workspace, leaving the site even tidier than before. Excellent job all around!

Wonderful job re-cutting our kitchen sink counter top cut out
Joe did an amazing job for us. We wanted to replace our older stainless steel sink with rounded corners with a newer style sink with square corners. We needed our granite counter top recut and Joe did a wonderful job. He even tented the work area so no dust.

Joe is a Magician! A new white quartz countertop was installed with a large scratch on the top and unsightly seaming in my newly renovated kitchen. The Contractor hired to rehab my home was released as a result of not willing to replace the damaged countertop. For a year, I search for a solution other than replacing the countertop, as it would have been very expensive option. I learned of Gulf Coast Surface Restoration through a fabricator - it was like winning a lottery! Joe did an amazing job on my countertop. It looks as though it is brand new and the seams are hardly visible. The process was lengthy and Joe work hard for over 9 hours to achieve the beautiful results. They are very careful with protecting the work area and clean up very well. Without question I highly recommend Gulf Coast Surface Restoration for your resurfacing project. To boot, Joe and his team are service oriented and pleasant individuals.

I was impressed that he drove all the way out to do the consultation, didn’t charge us anything, and was honest that the job would be expensive, potentially ineffective, and that it would be better to just replace it.
