Outstanding hiking experience with Guineafowl Adventure company! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized and infused with passion for the outdoors. Our guide Dave, also the owner of the company was not only knowledgeable about the trail and the history of the area but also attentive to individual hiker’s comfort and safety. I appreciated the small touches - flexibility with the pick up and drop off location, offering snacks, water and gear for the trip. It’s clear that Guineafowl truly cares about a memorable hiking experience for its customers.

I ran into Dave and his group on one of his guided tours in the Whites (at the AMC Madison Springs Hut). I was very impressed by his level of expertise and his thoughtful attitude towards planning. He gave my wife and me some excellent advice on picking trails, backup plans, and more. His knowledge of the trails in the Presidentials was encyclopedic and his advice was spot on. I didn't go on one of his trips, so I can only write as an outsider. But he knows his stuff, and his clients seemed to be having a great time. I would totally choose him as a guide! He did not ask for a review—this is just my way of thanking him.

Did my first-ever 4000+ footer Franconia Ridge Loop with Guineafowl Adventures Co., and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! I always wanted to hike but worried about the drive back after a strenuous climb. Guineafowl took care of pickup, drop-off, and all the essential gear, which made it so much easier to say yes. Dave, our guide, set clear expectations in the beginning and made the entire experience feel approachable. He kept us going with snacks, energy boosters, helpful tips, and constant encouragement. I never felt rushed, even though it was my first time hiking. Highly recommend them if you’re new to hiking or just want a stress-free and supportive experience on the trails!

I hired Dave for an adventure in the White Mountains back in November. After speaking on the phone and telling him my wish list he suggested a day hike at Franconia Ridge. He gave me advice on adapting my training to the challenges. We were picked up at our hotel in Boston on time and everything we would need for a successful trip were provided. After we finished he had is back in our hotel by dinner time. The hike was amazing and I cannot recommend this company more!

I purchased tickets for the beginner ice climbing trip in collaboration with IME in New Hampshire as a Christmas gift for my adventurous boyfriend, and the experience we had blew all my expectations out of the water! Included transportation and equipment made the 5am wakeup call much easier to manage, and our guides made sure that everyone got their fill of climbing before ending the day. I would highly recommend these programs for anyone who wants to get out into nature without the hassle of researching and planning for themselves!

I had wonderful experience. They are really punctual and very very co operative. Dave and sierra - our guides and owners are really amazing. Gear, snacks, transit and the knowledge they have on these treks was amazing. We hiked Mt.crawford - winter trek and were back just in time before the storm hit again. It was altogether a wonderful experience 🫠. Its really surprising to see how friendly trek experince I had!

When i signed up to hike up Mt Cardigon with Dave at Guineafowl Adventure Company, who was my guide, it was the best decision I have ever made. He prepared me for what was to come, brought many essential items and snacks for me and gave me the confidence to know i could make the hike 3,191 feet to the top. I loved every second and although it was hard in some areas, I DID IT!! The country is gorgeous and Dave also gave me great ideas for the rest of our trip in New Hampshire. Thank you!!!

Our Guineafowl guide, Dave, was great; experienced hiker and guide, gregarious, kind, excellent at providing directions, and a good listener. I love the outdoors and hiking, and seeing more of NH& ME was great; both the beautiful views, and the challenges of slippery rocks and mucky bogs. The trip, a short section hike on the AT in NH/ME, was well planned with excellent details, a prep zoom call, emails with hike details, recommended gear, what Guineafowl could provided, and we should bring, along check-in and reminders as we got close to the hike. Dave captured some nice videos and photos and shared a link to these within a day of completing our hike. If you are looking for a hiking guide, I recommend Guineafowl.

I can’t say enough good things about Guineafowl. I had the opportunity to go on a guided hike in the White Mountains with staff and other customers from Fjällräven Seaport. It was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had in the outdoors. Our guides, Dave and Serra, were friendly and welcoming and made sure everyone was fully prepared and safe on the hike starting with an orientation meeting the week before. On the day of the hike, we were picked up in Boston and driven to the trailhead in a really nice and comfortable van. When we got to the trail, we were all given bags packed with water, snacks, and all of the gear that we might need. The hike itself was really amazing and it’s hard to put it into words how much I enjoyed it. Dave and Serra kept a good pace for the group and made sure that everyone was comfortable and safe on the hike and they told a few good stories along the way. After the hike, we stopped for some snacks and packed up for a ride back to Boston. I had never considered a guided hike before and now I’m completely convinced that it is the way to go. I was able to spend my time enjoying nature and learning a few things along the way without having to worry about following a map or if I had all of the right gear. I really can’t wait to go on another hike with Guineafowl.

Just summited my first 4000-footer with Guineafowl and I can not say enough about Dave, Serra, and the amazing experience they provide! A group of us hiked Mt. Pierce as part of Fjallraven's VinterVandering contest, and both Fjallraven and Guineafowl made sure everyone had everything they needed to have the perfect hiking experience, from transportation, to awesome gear, to the most valuable hiking tips and more. Every aspect of the hike (as well as the van ride there and back) was super comfortable - not once did I have to worry about anything - Dave navigates like a boss and makes sure you are eating and staying hydrated. Getting above tree line and reaching the peak felt like a dream - totally breathtaking. I loved every second! There is absolutely nothing better than spending a day on the mountain with an amazing group of people. With Guineafowl you can rest assured that you are in the hands of some of the most experienced, knowledgable, and friendly guides you'll ever meet. They make the mountains accessible to everyone! Definitely going on more hikes with them in the future!!!
