Lets start with the very minimal good: The sales rep. Tyler was great he's got the most smarts, and customer service out of everyone in the office combined. He was very apologetic for the manner in which the office staff heckled me without the roof inspection for their check. I did not go through a roofers claim, and had already paid them a deposit via check without incident this is my first home, and their process was extremely disorganized, not explained clearly, and when things were it was usually by people who clearly arent thrilled by their jobs (as if they are the ones paying for the roofs?).The roofers completed the job in a day. Despite tornado watch and rain conditions, chimney was successfully completely in a day.
The director of operations Samantha K. And her subordinate Jenna, and their attitudes, were absolutely horrendous to deal with-- arrogant, bad tone, and aggressive. Now I see what the previous clients meant by their unprofessionalism, entitlement, and callous demeanor as a result, I wouldn't recommend this company to a dog flea, and would encourage others to not only get quotes from other companies, but to read all of the numerous negative reviews they have received across multiple platforms. Their site manager Jacob, was nice but lost in the sauce. After letting Samantha know Jacob had never sent the photos or reached out she insinuated I might have had his number blocked which was totally false since I have an open line of communication not only for the roofing team but also for other contractos (unrelated) doing upgrades on my home, she covered for the poor behaviors of both parties, and Jenna's terrible disposition, until she finally ran out of excuses, relented, and gave a real pathetic apology. moment she answered the phone. Her tone was dismissive, impatient, and honestly made it seem like customers were an inconvenience. Anyway they received their final check today PAID IN FULL and I hope like other customers on bbb who experiencing issues after their roof was replaced by Greentek I never have to call them again. Their office staff is a nightmare to deal with.
All in all If this is how they treat PAYING customers I can only imagine how problems are handled after payment is made. Customer service reflects the company as a whole, and this interaction with these two women was enough for me to take my business elsewhere and ensure than any of my friends, family members, colleagues, strangers and literally anyone knows I would not recommend dealing with a company that allows this level of disrespect toward customers.

The job involved complex coordination with tenant in-situ, insurer and other contractor but went off smoothly and the follow up on snags was prompt and effective. Good communication throughout

GreenTek was hired for a reroof for my mother-in-law in Lakeland. She recently lost her husband and this task was just overwhelming for her and they helped her with the insurance claim all the way through the completion of the process. She also had solar panels for her swimming pool that was removed and there were several pieces of plywood that rotted out because the panel mounts weren't sealed properly and they gave her a discounted price on those pieces of plywood. All in all they protected everything good, didn't damage anything and a job was installed properly without damage. We would recommend this company for a re-roof for sure! What was scary at first for her turned out to be a five star blessing!
Working with Greentek was so darn easy! From the start when Brandon knocked at our front door. Explained everything to us exactly how it was going to happen. He kept in contact with us the whole time.

I originally left a bad review on here but after contacting Evan and them admitting their mistake they came back out and fixed my roof and installed the proper products I purchased with no additional expense and provided another inspection by a licensed inspector so I would use them to do my roof in the future
Evan was professional, prompt, and an absolute pleasure to work with on my roofing project. Would highly recommend this company, and Evan specifically.
Overall process was good. Company is reputable and did a good job. Austin communicated well. We had 5 units that needed to be addressed and Austin worked with all 5 owners to meet their individual needs which was great.
However, one of their employees took it upon herself to get involved with a domestic violence police situation that was occurring at my home and it really left a bad taste in my mouth, which is the reason for the reduced rating.

Poor work. My roof leaked the first rain. Flooded my bedroom twice and my ceiling in my bathroom. They put a roof on top of a roof and now my living room is leaking water like a faucet when it rains. They used illegals that didnt speak English and was afraid to work. They dont stand behind the warranty.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We do want to clarify several inaccuracies in your review so that future readers have a complete and accurate understanding of the project. At the time of our initial inspection, your flat roof already exhibited ponding water. We presented two options, including a tapered insulation system specifically designed to eliminate ponding. You elected to move forward with the lower-cost option and declined the tapered system at that time. During the project, a leak was identified in an area where a gutter had previously been removed by another contractor. That work left a large exposed gap, which was not part of our original scope. After completion, when ponding continued, you requested that the roof be redone with a tapered system. A change order was signed, and the additional work was completed accordingly. Following project completion, payment through the financing provider was delayed due to additional punch list items being requested that were outside the agreed scope of work, including stucco cracking. Stucco was never included in the roofing contract, nor is it part of the roofing system. Once it was confirmed that warranties would not apply without resolution of payment, you advised that the project was complete and funds were released. Since then, you have contacted us regarding additional leaks. Each time, our team responded within 48 hours. Upon inspection, the sources were identified as stucco cracks not roofing failures. Despite this, we went beyond our contractual scope and sealed those cracks as a courtesy. We also want to be clear that all GreenTek crews are fully employed, W-2 team members. We take pride in our workforce and the professionalism they bring to every job. While we regret that this experience did not meet your expectations, we stand by the work performed, the agreements signed, and the efforts our team made to address concerns promptly and professionally.
