Juliet is a great teacher and musician. I learned so much from her. She renewed my confidence and helped me most of all with the mental aspect of playing. I've been playing guitar for decades and I had no idea how tense I was when I played and her techniques really paid off for me. I hated to end lessons, but I moved away from Greensboro.

Juliet has been a great teacher for my 14-year-old son. He is taking classical guitar lessons in hopes of attending an arts high school. Juliet teaches in a way that's easy for him to understand. She's firm but gentle, which is perfect for his personality. In addition to the music curriculum, she has taught him about confidence in performing, how to calm nerves, how to handle sight reading music, nail care (yes, it's a thing!), meditations to prepare his mind for practice (which he has used for other stressful situations, such as school). His lessons are at Moore Music. They have been great as well. They communicate really well about payments and lessons. I would encourage anyone who wants to learn guitar to get in touch with Juliet.

Lessons with Juliet have been amazing. My practice sessions are certainly more focused and the music I am studying is appropriate for my level without being too easy or too challenging. But I think the best part is being guided through interpreting music. We don't just read what is written on the page and move on. We spend a lot of time really dissecting the pieces and seeing what we can draw from them based on our own interpretation and experience. While I am absolutely growing as a classical guitarist, I am also growing as an artist.

I've taken lessons with Juliet for the last two summers, and it's been truly incredible. I go to a school of the arts for classical guitar, and all of the theory and technique she's taught me has come in handy during my school-related music classes. In addition to being knowledgeable in all things guitar, she's also a wonderful person and teacher. Juliet is kind, patient, and compassionate, and never gets frustrated if it takes you a while to understand a concept- she seems to be able to explain every topic in a multitude of ways. My experience with Juliet has been amazing, and I will definitely be coming back next summer. I'd highly recommend her to any guitarist or aspiring guitarist who wants a friendly, positive teacher to assist them in reaching their goals.

I played a little guitar in high school but never learned to read music. For years I have wanted to learn to play classical guitar and read music. Juliet has been a wonderful teacher – patient, supportive, encouraging. She allows me to learn at my own pace. I cannot imagine a better instructor.

Juliet is a wonderful guitar teacher. Initially, my 13 year-old son had been taking guitar lessons with a different instructor, and after several months he began to lose interest and motivation. However, after meeting Juliet, I had a good feeling about her and encouraged him to give guitar another shot. With Juliet as his new teacher amazingly, his attitude took a 180 degree turn, he made more progress in a few weeks than he had in months, and was excited about learning from Juliet! I strongly recommend!

I have been taking guitar lessons with Juliet for about 6 months. Words cannot express what a fantastic musician AND teacher she is! It's one thing to be able to play like one of the masters and another thing entirely to be able to teach all levels of musicians everything from basic music theory to technique that will preserve aching joints to beautiful musicality.
I LOVE working with her, and my guitar lessons are honestly the highlight of my week. In addition to really knowing her stuff and knowing how to relay all that information in bite-sized pieces, she is kind, patient, funny, and encouraging. We move at my pace -- some weeks making tons of progress because I have lots of time to practice, and others going super slowly because I'm overbooked with work and life stuff. I love that she cheers me on when I make quick progress, but is also very patient with me when things are slow-moving. She is never condescending, and is happy to take any crazy question I throw at her.
The low-pressure and fun atmosphere in the lessons honestly makes it easier for me to practice in my own time and know that whatever little bit of progress I make that week will be welcomed with open arms in my next lesson -- so I don't dread lessons like I have with other teachers (whoops!). I think that's helped me to make quicker progress than any other instrument I've tried. Again, I cannot recommend Juliet enough! She is a true gem.

Juliet is a phenomenal guitar teacher! Her extensive training and knowledge put her above the rest. She is very professional, kind, patient and inspiring. Equally important, she makes learning fun. My daughter has been taking from her for almost a year and has learned more than I ever imagined. They even dive deep into the fundamentals, theory and history of music and guitar.
