A pipe burst in our attic and flooded down through two floors, ruining a lot of what we had stored in our garage below, including things that had been in the family for years. Our washing machine hose gave out while we were at work and by the time we got home there was water halfway across the kitchen and into the hallway. I panicked a little, not going to lie. Green Planet Restoration of San Bernardino got someone out within the hour, set up fans and dehumidifiers, and pulled back the baseboards to check for hidden moisture we wouldn't have caught ourselves. We live close enough to the foothills that wildfire smoke settles into our house every fire season, even when the actual fire stays miles away.
