An Amazing Family Experience at Green Elephant Sanctuary Park
It felt great to spend time in a place that supports such an important cause, helping rehabilitate elephants that have come from difficult and heartbreaking pasts.Visiting with my family made the day even more special. We learned so much about the elephants, their stories, and how they are being given a second chance at a peaceful life. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff ensured everyone felt safe, comfortable, and involved.Overall, it was a great time with great people, supporting a great cause. We left with full hearts and a deeper appreciation for these gentle giants. Highly recommended for families and animal lovers!
We had such a nice time, crew was fun and organised, the elephants are well taken care off, we feed them, scrub them with muds, washed them. The elephants are so chill and sweet, it was a beautiful experience. Later we had some tasty watermelon, painted our elephant souvenirs and went home with a full heart ❤️
What an amazing afternoon (coelliac & mobility issues)
What an afternoon. Our guide, Mai, was fantastic. My husband has serious mobility issues and Mai was incredibly thoughtful and patient. For those of you with mobility issues, you do travel around in the truck and only get out to feed/bathe/swim with the elephants, however there was one area where you had to walk a 3 minute walk. Getting in and out of water was an issue, top tip, take wet shoes with cushioned soles. We wanted to choose a sanctuary that was for conservation, not one for rides etc. It’s so obvious how much these elephants are cared for. You arrive and have lunch first. I have coelliac disease and didn’t advise ahead of time so just had rice and a fruit platter Mai kindly made for me. You then get changed and off you go feeding elephants, cutting down grass, giving them a mud bath, swimming with them. Truly magical day, one we’ll never forget. Nice shop there with drinks, snacks and souvenirs inc T-shirts with ‘save our elephants. Highly recommended trip whilst in Bangkok
