Our artificial grass was looking a bit tired and we weren’t sure what to do with it as it’s in a commercial setting in our pub restaurant premises so has a lot of footfall, spilt food and drinks. I treated our artificial grass a week ago & unlike many others I have used, the lovely fresh melon fragrance is still noticeable every day. Most cleaners seem to lose their scent after just a couple of days, so this has been a pleasant surprise.As we have drought restrictions in Devon, with a hosepipe ban, I took the opportunity to clean this grass after the only rainfall we had in weeks whilst it was still wet as this cleaner required the artificial grass to be wet, unlike others that is sprayed on dry grass. I used a watering can to mix the cleaner & spread across the grass, then brushed it as per instructions. The thick gel was easy to apply & the method gave me confidence that it was definitely cleaning the grass & removing dog urine odours.I only used half of the 1 litre bottle to cover our lawn so I have sufficient for another clean in a month's time which makes it good value as well. During the summer months, the warm weather brings out the unpleasant dog urine smells, so I find that it needs to be cleaned more frequently than the rest of the year. This cleaner certainly removed all nasty odours & has left the grass area looking fresh, smelling really clean & feeling generally much more pleasant to spend time on.Received as part of the Amazon Vine program in exchange for an honest review.

Astro turf cleaner I use this product yesterday for the first time. Followed the instructions and found it straightforward to useI used it in a bucket with slightly warmer water and my portable jet wash which connects to the bucket.He did a good job of refreshing my astro turf and it did leave a nice watermelon scented smell briefly.It's quite expensive for the size of the bottle. However it does make several litres so there is that to consider. I think if it's used regularly, once you've got on top of the urine smell you would probably smell it more and for longer.

But with the prolonged heatwave and lack of rain to rinse any dog urine through the artificial grass, it was getting a bit whiffy.I diluted it 1 part to 5 parts water and used my watering can, as mine is sat on a sand base not a hard surface. Has a slight watermelon scent but it isn’t overpowering.No rinsing required, and it did break down the urine enzymes and whiffy smell and left my garden smelling much fresher and not like a doggy toilet.

Helps freshen up artificial grass I used this GreenBlade probiotic gel on our artificial grass in the back garden, we get a lot of fox traffic. It’s easy to pour and spread, sitting on the surface long enough to work before soaking in. The smell is strong when you first apply it, but it settles after a while. After using it, the grass looked a bit cleaner and the usual fox/cat urine smell was noticeably reduced, which is what I was hoping for.
