Brought my unit in for warranty service. Had Chris for my advisor. Total professionalism and knowledge! Each step of the process was perfectly orchestrated. No rush through and totally took the time to answer all my questions as well as things I hadn't thought of. Left with total confidence that my rig was in good hands. Have a buddy with an out of warranty unit that has solar issues. Have recommended GA to him. Clean neat environment and really nice RV accessory store as well! Extremely happy with the process so far. Will update this review when service is complete. I have every confidence the follow up will be just as good.
GARV part 2:
I picked up my RV on April 14th and had it out camping twice with no issues in the work GARV did on my unit. GARV is easy to work with, and the Tech (Izzy) spent time with me to assure I was up to date on all the repairs and work done. As expected, all work was excellent. The Team at GARV Huntsville is easy to work with and they have a precise documentation system. Starting with Chris at Maintenance administration, Troy the Maintenance Manager and Izzy my Tech, all professional, top-notch folks that take the time to explain things. They are straight shooters. I recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a unit or needed maintenance other than Chassi work as they do not do Chassi work (except for steering stabilizers). They installed a Safe-t-Plus, steering stabilizer on my Flair and it is a huge difference. I recommend this enhancement to anyone with a gas class A and have GARV do the install. You won't go wrong!!!
There service department is horrible. We bought a brand new fifth wheel there. On the walk around one of the windows glass was sliding out the guy shoved back in place by the time we got home it was coming out again. Then the black water tank valve stuck and the handle bent trying to close it. Then we had a water leak around the outside kitchen. They said the door was warped. The water was running into the living room and warped a piece of paneling. I looked and found it was a water line for the outside kitchen leaking and fixed it myself. Took it in today to get the work done they put in the new window it don’t match the original one beside it. Then it wouldn’t open so they put on a new knob that don’t match the rest in the camper. They ordered the wrong size valve for the black water tank and did not reattach the handle so now we can’t open and close the tank. When the put in the new piece of paneling they didn’t attach the top piece of trim. And the electrical receptacle no longer works. The technician that did the work has zero pride in his work. And needs terminated
