I contacted Go Tech Appliance Repair Edmonton about my Samsung dryer no longer making heat. THE SAME DAY John came to my home, diagnosed the problem, EXPLAINED the problem to me by drawing it out on paper, had the parts in his van, fixed the dryer, cleaned up after his work was done, AND recommended a new restaurant for me to try. Friendly, efficient, professional, DEFINITELY someone you need to call when you are having trouble with your appliances. Great service!!!
We have now used this company for our dishwasher and dryer (two seperate visits about two months apart) ...and can't say enough good things! When the dryer broke the other day we knew who to call! And when they fixed the dryer they did an amazing job!

My GE washing machine was dead, called Gotech and John came to diagnose and fix. He was recommended by family who had them fix theirs a couple of years ago. Many errors and he tried the cheap fix, but unfortunately it was my electronic board and after issues he was able to fix it and now I am happily (?) washing clothes again. He was honest, and friendly and said he would get it done and did. Thank you John :)

Have used John a couple of times for appliance repairs and highly recommend him. He is very professional and personal. Whenever possible he tries to give customer options if there is more than one way to fix something or where to buy a part and I appreciate this type of honest service.
Had a very unpleasant experience with John. When h came over to fix our dishwasher, he first spoke to my mother (who has an accent when she speaks English) and got frustrated. Mind you he has a thick Russian or Ukrainian accent himself. When I cleared why exactly the problem with the dishwasher was and provided the info he needed, I head back to my in home office to work. I heard him on the phone with who I assume is his boss or dispatcher very clearly say “I told you I do not want to work with Indians” and rant on and on about it. I’m utterly disgusted and will never recommend him to anyone. Especially if you’re of a south Asian background. Immigrants complaining about other immigrants is disturbing and frankly embarrassing. You should be ashamed John.

If such a serious concern had occurred, we would expect it to be brought to our attention immediately so it could be addressed.

Fantastic Service
John came out to fix our gas range on a Saturday, replacing the igniter for oven and switch for the light. He was extremely knowledgeable and priced very reasonably. He was kind and courteous. He diagnosed the problem quickly, went to his van to get a part, and came right back to repair it. We paid him when the repair was complete. He never asked us for any money prior to the completion of the repair and gave us a reasonable quote to repair it. There is a 90-day warranty on the part. John is awesome and definitely believes in awesome customer service. We will use him and recommend him for appliance repair.

Came to repair my oven, it was overheating. John found it was shorting out. He was super helpful, very honest and gave me all the options of what I could do. John also took care not to scratch my dark hardwood floors. Highly recommend.

We had a technician named John come out to fix our Frigidaire dual wall oven, the broiler was still not working after we replaced the element ourselves. The repair was scheduled within days of our call, John was on time, had good communication and did a thorough job of checking out what needed to be fixed. He even cleaned up after the job! I am thrilled to have my broiler working after he determined the issue & fixed the mother board. I’m ecstatic that I did not have to wait weeks for a repair and would highly recommend Gotech Appliance repair in future.

After bad experiences with two other appliance repair firms, we decide to try GoTech for our oven repairs in Sherwood Park. John showed on time, and after about one hour diagnosed the issue. He did not have replacement part, and when he phoned he was told -that they were not sure they could get it for him. He then offered to try and repair the board itself. He had to go to another appointment and retuned afterwards to complete the job. I was very impressed with his professionalism, and the fact that he took his time to check everything out to make sure that the repairs were successful.

I used Go Tech Appliance repair Edmonton to fix a leak in my Kitchen Aid dishwasher. Turns out the problem was a gasket that needed to be replaced on the diverter motor. The response was fast and the dishwasher works like a charm.
