Sunmade did a great job. I had been looking into solar systems for some time and they had given me a quote a couple of years ago. It was all overwhelming but when i reached out to Sunmade this time around, they made the process so much easier. They were flexible and the team was easy to talk to. They happily negotiated from there original offer and the installation was lighting quick. They installed the panels and battery i wanted as well as a electric car charger. I highly recommend them for your solar needs.
I really enjoyed my experience with Sunmade. They made the whole process very streamlined and provided excellent support. I looked at Sunrun(who were very hostile), Sunergy(which had terrible reviews), and Sunmade. Not only do they have the best reviews but i was so impressed with the whole set up. They installed the panels and battery i wanted plus an electric car charger in a single day after getting the permits. I highly recommend them.

The SunMade team was excellent throughout the entire Solar installation process. We also needed our roof re-done due to leaks and other issues which they were able to accommodate.
The in-person consultation with Jon was great and he went over the whole system, our usage, and what would be needed to best offset that usage with solar, noting that typically systems are “over-built” as people will often use more power once they have solar. He also went over different financing options as well as discounts available, laying it all out clearly. No AI was used as far as I could tell. The use of it was what pushed me away from another company.
Installation ran into a few snags, none of which were SunMade’s fault, but they navigated through them and we were able to proceed without too much additional cost.
The one issue that I do feel I have to note is at some point during the roof work, one of the people working on the roof mis-stepped and it put a hole in the roof inside. That said, it was promptly fixed within a couple days once they had the right materials for no cost. I contemplated reducing to 4-Star due to this but ultimately decided not to as the response was prompt even after-hours. Still, please, if an accident happens just let me know rather than letting me find out myself later!
So far, the solar system has been working great as well as the batteries. The roof has held up to a couple different storms with strong downpour without leaks.
I would recommend them for those looking for Solar. They may not be the cheapest option around but I felt cared for not just another check to collect.

Amazing company to work with, Duane used a drone to measure best location for panels. As I drive around I notice many panels in full shade because they didn't hire Sunmade. Mine receive full sun exposure with 10 east and 10 south facing. They are also the only company that would install the panels I wanted, REC alpha pure rx 460's with 2 Tesla power wall 3 batteries. The install was clean with no conduit running along the roof , everything fed thru attic. I produce more power than my friends 26 panels ( all south facing) q cell system. I was so worried about this purchase, however now I'm just disappointed. Disappointed I didn't hire Sunmade sooner!
