I recently had a 30 minute virtual consultation with Robert Gonzalez regarding a real estate issue I encountered regarding homeownership. I will say I got a very good overall impression of how this firm operates. I initially spoke to Hope, the intake specialist before the consult. She spent an entire 30-40 minutes with me taking notes on my potential case and documenting all the details. I was also allowed to submit supporting documentation for the lawyer to review as a part of our consult. Extremely efficient, not sure if other firms do this. As far as the consult with Robert, he is very knowledgeable, he lays out all possibilities of potential outcomes, answered all my questions, and provided recommendations and solutions that I didn’t even think of (of course I’m not a lawyer lol!). I don't usually write reviews, but in this case I wanted to because my experience has been different from what I expected when looking for legal help.
I came to Gomez Law with a very complicated family property matter involving a partition action. Like many people in these situations, the legal issues were intertwined with years of difficult family dynamics, so deciding whether to hire an attorney was emotionally challenging.
From my very first conversations, Hope never pressured me to move forward. She listened carefully, respected that this was a major decision, and recognized that situations involving long-term dependency and family conflict often require thoughtful, outside legal guidance. That alone made me feel heard.
Hope also intentionally paired me with Robert, whose trauma-informed approach has made a meaningful difference. Throughout the process, I have felt treated as a person rather than just another case file.
The firm has also been willing to work with me to find a practical financial solution so that I could move forward with representation despite difficult circumstances. That flexibility has given me an opportunity I wasn't sure would be possible.
I'm still in the middle of my case, so I can't speak to the final outcome yet. What I can say is that Gomez Law has earned my trust through their professionalism, compassion, and willingness to understand the human side of a difficult legal situation.
