We recently welcomed our sweet Lily home, and the experience with Gold Star Corgis was exceptional. From the very first phone call with Steven, it was clear how knowledgeable and caring he is about corgis. Their setup is fantastic—clean, well-organized, and designed with the dogs' wellbeing in mind.When bringing her home, Steven and Frieda provided us with her food, treats, and even her favorite stuffed animal and blanket. Unlike most other breeders, Lily came home completely crate-trained! From the first night home, she slept all through the night happily in her crate. Steven and Frieda's dedication is heartwarming, and Steven was always available to answer my questions. Lily is our third corgi, and I can confidently say this was the best experience we've had. Highly recommended!

When first I found myself at the Fisher‘s in April, 2025, I fell in love with the mother of a litter of puppies Frieda showed me. Fast forward nine months, that sweet 4 year-old retiree is my perfect companion. Many trips between Morgantown and Chestertown facilitated her living in two homes until her last litter found their forever homes. Early on Steven and Frieda recognized the bond that developed between us and facilitated a way to enable us to be together. In turn, I recognized her assets as a GoldStar breeding female: intelligent, sweet disposition, loyal, and handsome. The Fishers’ standard of care is well-documented. Their facility is built on knowledge, expertise, compassion, and common sense.

We had a fantastic experience working with Steven and Frieda to bring our girl Nori (Blossom) home. Their home and the area they have for their dogs and the puppies are so nice and very well kept. You can immediately tell they take such good care of their dogs and love them! We received photo updates and personality updates once we picked our puppy out and they responded quickly to any questions we had! They start them on crate training too which is wonderful, and was a big help in her transition to our home. If you’ve decided on a corgi puppy, we highly recommend getting one from Goldstar, we’re so glad we did! We love our Nori girl soooo much! She’s beautiful, adorable, ornery, sweet, energetic, talkative, and full of love. Everything a corgi puppy should be! Thank you Steven and Frieda! 🐾🧡

Queso (formerly Darla) has been the perfect addition to our family! She’s healthy, playful, and beautifully socialized. Amazingly, she slept through the night in her crate from the very first night. That says so much about the dedication of Steven and Frieda. We’re beyond thankful to them for this beautiful puppy! We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for the perfect Corgi!

After a TON of research looking for a reputable breeder, I got my sweet Maple from GoldStar and it has been nothing less than an outstanding experience. Steven and Frieda were excellent to work with. You can tell they truly care about their pups and bettering the breed. I brought my pup home and she was fully crate trained and almost completely potty trained. She is a happy, healthy pup and truly has an amazing demeanor. She has also been a BREEZE as far as training so far. HIGHLY recommend.

First time dog owner. Can't say enough about how great it was to work with Steven and Freida when it came time to adopt a Corgi puppy. From our initial inquiry, they were always very responsive, transparent, and welcoming. They let us come visit their home before committing to anything, and their setup is so great! The dogs have a large, clean, space to play and are all so friendly! When it came to our specific puppy, they offered lots of flexibility around coat and gender preference, as well as pickup date (since I had a conflict at the 8 week point). Once our pup was born, they were consistently in contact with us with photos and other updates. And once we brought him home, he was already so well behaved and had early potty/crate training. Adopting a puppy is going to be stressful no matter what, having people like Steven and Freida who know what they are doing helps so much!! 100% recommend to anyone in the area thinking about adopting a corgi.

From the moment we fist contacted Steven and Frieda, they were amazing, with updates on the litter, to driving up to meet the puppies and their mom Maeve. We picked Daisy almost immediately, as she was so outgoing and loving towards us, she totally blew us away. The information and advice we were given by Steven and Frieda and their obvious love for the breed made bringing Daisy home with us so easy and stress free. We would highly recommend anyone looking for a Pembroke Welsh Corgi get their puppy from Goldstar.

Could not recommend Steven and Frieda more. We have had Twizzler (Harley) for almost two months now and he is just the joy of our lives. Stephen and Frieda were so accommodating with needing to pick up our baby at 14 weeks. They checked in with us throughout the process, they checked in with us after. They even do personality testing on the puppies to make sure they are a good fit for your lifestyle. We couldn’t be happier and full of love for our little guy. They did such a wonderful job with him. They also have their children involved in socializing their dogs which makes a huge difference in the puppy’s comfort level with people, and being handled. Twizzler is so chill and game for anything, it may be just his personality but it is definitely a credit to Steven and Frieda. We cant thank them enough for brining him into our lives!

Couldn’t Be Happier with Our Experience! We had such a positive experience getting our Corgi, Luna, from this breeder. They were incredibly responsive, flexible with visiting hours, and answered every question we had. The facility was spotless, well-organized, and it was clear they genuinely care about their dogs. They provided us with lots of helpful information about Luna’s temperament, along with plenty of videos and photos leading up to pick-up. When we brought her home at 10 weeks, she was nearly fully potty trained and already crate trained — she almost slept through the night from day one! The paperwork process was also super easy and professional. We’re so impressed with the care and training Luna received early on. Would absolutely get another dog from them in the future!

There are not enough great things that I can say about Stephen and Frieda of Goldstar! From the day I first inquired about our Maple to the day I picked her up, they were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly! Communication with them was always in a timely manner and they always took the time to answer any and all of the questions that I had. They are 100% thorough in making sure that the puppy that you want is the best match for you. They give all the puppies a temperament testing and then they allow you to come out and see the puppies and review the test results to determine whether that puppy will meet your expectations and lifestyle. They are very knowledgeable about the breed and can provide you a honest, hands on description about each of their puppies personalities! Their facility is clean and exactly what you expect from a breeder. Frieda gave us a tour of their facility and the dogs are kept in clean runs and play areas. Mom was on site and we were also able to see her. Stephen and Frieda also start their puppies on potty and crate train their puppies and by the time you bring your new fur baby home they are 75% on their way! Maple has been the best addition to our pack! Her temperament is a perfect fit and she has hands down been the easiest of all our corgis to train… most of the work was started for us. If you are serious about investing in the crazy life of a corgi companion, I strongly recommend and encourage you to work with Goldstar! They will walk you through the process from start to finish!

We had a fantastic experience with Steven and Frieda at Gold Star Puppies. From the start, they were warm, responsive, and clearly passionate about their dogs. Our puppy, Theodora (formerly Tasha), came home happy, healthy, and so well-adjusted. She arrived with all her up-to-date vaccinations, AKC registration papers, microchip information, and a clear health record. It was such a relief knowing she had already started crate training — it made the transition so much smoother for us. What really stood out was how much thought they put into matching each puppy with the right family. They use temperament testing to help guide that decision, which shows how seriously they take placing their puppies in the best possible homes. We also appreciated how accommodating Steven and Frieda were with our schedule, even holding Theo a bit longer after our trip and keeping us updated along the way. You could genuinely feel how much they care about their dogs — even when we picked Theo up, it was clear they would miss her! I would absolutely recommend Gold Star Puppies to anyone looking for a responsible and trustworthy breeder.

Steven and Frieda are amazing! From the first time we connected with them, they were open and honest. They sent us all the information we asked for and accommodated us coming over multiple times to meet the litter. Their facilities are so clean and professional. You can tell they really care about and love what they do. They updated us often with pictures and stories of how the puppies were progressing. Once we picked our puppy they kept us up to date on her. They spent time crate training and socializing the puppies and it shows. What a joy having a puppy that loves her crate and won’t fuss at bed time. The whole experience was second to none and my family will recommend Goldstar Corgis to any person. What a great family business. Our new puppy is settled in and passed her first vet check with flying colors at our vet! The best part is we’ve built a relationship with Steven and Frieda and plan to keep them updated with pictures and how our little one grows up. Couldn’t be more pleased!!
