We’re from Houston and were visiting our family in Rowlett. We noticed a noise that I thought were the brakes, right after that the ABS light turned on.I took my 2010 Tundra to a shop that diagnosed a broken left rear bearing but did not have the tools to fix it. I noticed the Golden Rule Auto Repair sign, it gave me a good feeling that I decided to go there. They had the tools and most of all “a tech that knew what to do.” When the tech did a test drive, he noticed it still needed additional repairs, which were done. I am very pleased with All the Work they did. We drove back home to Houston. I recommend Golden Rule Auto Shop to my family and anyone needing repairs. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. Thank You Very Much!

Good honest people
Best experience I’ve ever had at an auto care place. Professional and very knowledgeable staff. The thing that stands out is their HONESTY. Literally had another place completely lie about the work they did. Golden took care of us, no games/ no BS. Just good honest people!

Everyone was courteous and professional. Checked out my concerns on my vehicle and didn't charge me. I will definitely use them for any repairs I need in the future. I appreciate their honesty most of all. It's hard to find honest mechanics these days. Golden Rule lives by their name.

Reasonable expectations were set. An honest estimate, ranging for best to worst scenarios, was given and clearly explained. In each case, promises were kept. Service was professional and yet friendly. I will use them again if/when I must get automotive work done.

Great job of being responsive and keeping on touch through every step of the repair process. A major drawback, though, is that they will not waive their diagnostic fee even if the work is done there.
