Bryon tech was very up front with the fact we had an old furnace. Didn't try to sell me anything, and gave me an honest opinion.
Revision: the more I think about it I paid $170. To get no more information than I already knew. He showed up without a multimeter which every HVAC should have, and hiss idea of fixing my furnace was less about diagnosing the problem and more about just replacing parts until it was fixed, well I could do that. I think the tech was tired because he was overworked while the rest of the company was on vacation in Florida. These people take advantage of those who know nothing about heating and cooling and for that they deserve one star at most.
