Bryon tech was very up front with the fact we had an old furnace. Didn't try to sell me anything, and gave me an honest opinion. Revision: the more I think about it I paid $170. To get no more information than I already knew. He showed up without a multimeter which every HVAC should have, and hiss idea of fixing my furnace was less about diagnosing the problem and more about just replacing parts until it was fixed, well I could do that. I think the tech was tired because he was overworked while the rest of the company was on vacation in Florida. These people take advantage of those who know nothing about heating and cooling and for that they deserve one star at most.

The worst, came over said what issue was. Then total me the price and only warranty for 60 days because WE DONT KNOW WHAT OTHER ISSUES ARE HAPPENING WITH FURNACE!. What’s the point of the diagnostic??

Very friendly and accommodating. They replaced my system and all the radiators and barely disturbed me at all. Unit thre an error code and they came the next day and took care of it. Very satisfied and highly recommend.

Had Furnace replaced. Workers were patient answering questions. And making sure everything was correct before leaving. Very very pleased. I would recommend Grasshopper heating to my family and friends.

Very happy with the service . No upsell, diagnosed & repaired the problem in under 2 hours would recommend them to anyone experiencing heating & Cooling problems. Have to edit this post after dealing with them for 2 years they have proven to given me some of the worst experiences I have ever encountered with a company there isn't enough free coffee in the world to make me want to do business with them.

Yearly service on air conditioner. The service representative was polite, efficient, and thorough. If the AC functions properly through the summer, as I suspect it will, then I'll add expertly.

We're really happy with the work Grasshopper did and plan on contacting them on a yearly basis for maintenence. The person took his time to explain things so I could understand them and I was very comfortable with the whole experience. I definitely recommend Grasshopper 5 🌟. UPDATE! 2026 - Grasshopper Heating and Cooling came to the rescue AGAIN! They were very prompt and courteous and performed all of the repairs needed to get my hvac system working again. They explained everything along the way. I appreciated the system of checks and balances they use in consulting with the company's home base along the way. Highly recommend STILL! A company I put on a short list of businesses I wouldn't hesitate to recommend without any reservations.

Hi. André Putnam here. Your technician, Sergio, checked all components of the heating system at Israel’s house, but found nothing wrong. It didn’t need further correction, he said. It started to work when he and I started to look at it. Sergio, started an in-depth checking of components of the system the moment we had access to it! I was impressed by Sergio’s knowledge of all his checking components and how they worked, etc. Israel may leave another review here later on. The tech was there when I got there at 2:09PM.

We phoned Grasshopper on a Friday night after discovering a gas leak. National Grid confirmed the leak and shut off the gas line to the home. Grasshopper came over on Saturday, stated the job was too large for 1 person and provided an estimate of $4,200.00 and that we would need to schedule an appointment during the week. We phoned a competitor who provided an estimate of $735 including tax. The job was completed in a total of 1 hour with very minimal parts required.

Wow, hearing about your situation is a real bummer to me. Nobody wants to be left in the lurch with an issue as serious as a gas leak, and I'm sorry if you felt that's what we did. Firstly, I'm relieved that you managed to get it sorted that quickly. Your safety is paramount, so I'm glad that another team was able to assist when we could not.

The difference in time and cost you've described is significant, and I can understand why that's caused some frustration. However, we pride ourselves on thorough and quality work, we always ensure we provide the manpower necessary to ensure the integrity and security of the repairs we make. We know how critical it is not to cut corners, particularly with something as potentially dangerous as a gas leak.

It's not our intention to overcharge or upsell, and we're sorry it may have come off that way. Our pricing aligns with the guaranteed value, materials used, and our commitment to getting the job done right- not quickly. It’s my goal to be transparent and communicate our pricing processes. I'll be sharing your feedback with our team so we can find ways to communicate this more effectively.

I live in Satatoga County and Alex did my furnace maintenance this morning. He was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and just an overall nice guy...and I'm not easy to impress! He took pictures of parts of the furnance and thoroughly explained them to me. He then made a call to Connor in the office....who was also great! Connor took time to research and present my options, answered all my question's ... and not once did I feel rushed or pressured. The Customer Service that the two of them provided was exceptional, and very much appreciated... Thank you Alex and Connor!
