We absolutely love Brittany Snowden & the staff at CEP-Westchase. My 15 yr old daughter, Vivian, tore her ACL in a lacrosse game and underwent ACL reconstruction surgery recently. Prior to surgery, Brittany prepared Viv to be strong and flexible in order to achieve the best post-op results. We are one week post-op and Brittany has been so much more than a PT. She truly cares about Viv, emotionally & physically. I’ve never witnessed a PT asking their patient “how are you doing emotionally?” Viv is responding so well to Brittany because she feels how invested she is in the process. Prior to CEP, Viv was working w another PT in Westchase and the difference is night & day. We decided to seek alternative PT solutions because Viv plans to return to lacrosse next summer & play at the same elite level. She hopes to play in college. Key differences we’ve observed: a) one PT to one patient ratio at CEP vs one PT to two patient ratio elsewhere b) seeing the patient as a total person and really getting to know them at CEP vs being 1 of 100 daily patients elsewhere. Not focused on building strong connections. c) advanced care specific to an elite athlete at CEP vs standard of care for the average patient elsewhere. I plan to write another review as we progress with her rehab but thought it important to post asap for other parents of athletes seeking the best possible therapy solution for their kids.
