After reviewing several quotes I settled on GMC Home Improvements for the supply and installation of my Opening Roof louvered patio. I was impressed with the quality of their products, including the powder coated aluminum louvres and supporting frame along with the stainless steel moving components combined with nylon bushes for smooth noiseless operation. My choice was reinforced during the installation by the quality of the finish, the workman skills and attention to detail. I was also kept informed on the progress of the work and instructed in the operation of the system. The work was completed on time and I was extremely satisfied with the quality of the end product. I can strongly recommend GMC Home Improvements for Opening Roof Louvred Patios.

Mark is committed to delivering a top quality product that fits in well with your existing home. The louvred roof is a beautiful addition to my home and ties in perfectly with the pool and deck. It is so versatile also with the ability to open or close the roof and the sides/blinds. It’s an extension to my house. The quality of the materials and paint finish is excellent. I’m glad I chose Mark and GMC home improvements to do this job.

We had a wonderful experience with Mark and Jesse, who replaced the motor on our opening roof. Even though it was originally installed by another supplier and the previous owners of our house, Mark provided excellent advice and aftercare. This job was probably quite small for them overall, but they treated it with great care. Highly recommended!

Thanks Mark and the team at GMC for working with us on the best options for our louvred awning. Mark was very thorough in giving us several options for our deck awning and selecting the right material and colour match. The quality of the awning and quick and efficient installation from the GMC team was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Great communication all the way from ordering to installation and Mark made sure that everything was completely perfectly. We love our new awning it's added another room on the back of our house which will get much use. For quality and value, you can't go wrong with GMC they are first class and you are in good hands.

Mark & his Team installed our louvered roof system at Cammeray in 2022. Being in construction myself for almost 30 years & having an eye for detail, I was most impressed with how Mark went above & beyond my expectations with his attention to detail & doing the little extra bits that really made a difference. Just because something is out of sight, Mark still made sure it was done properly. Separately, about 18 months later, I needed several metres of steel work prepped & ColorBond flashing installed. Again, a first class installation. Mark is also one of those rare trades that maintains communication, arrives onsite the day he says he will & is on time. I cannot recommend Mark & his Team at GMC enough & would not hesitate to engage his services again!

The end result was a quality product with a professional install! We are so happy with the finished product including the automatic rain sensor, down lights and LED strip lights. We cannot fault the service Mark provided. After receiving multiple quotes for our opening louvered roof, Mark instantly understood our vision for the project, offered valuable suggestions, and provided a competitive price for a quality product. He took the time to answer all our questions thoroughly, regularly updated us during the lead up to installation, and completed the job with great care and attention to detail. He was careful to abide by the restrictions and precautions as required by our strata committee/bylaws. We're thrilled with the finished product and our neighbours are equally impressed. Thanks Mark! Update: Now 2 years after the initial install we still love our 2 louvred pergolas. The inbuilt lights and heating really enhance the outdoor living experience. Unfortunately one of the motors started having issues. Without any hesitation or delay Mark was quick to investigate the issue, attended the property multiple times to work on fixing it, and replaced the parts without question. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Pride in delivering a quality product and seamless customer service really sets GMC Home Improvements apart from the competition!
