Martin and his team did a fantastic job laying our driveway. What a transformation! We were fully informed at every stage of the work. They worked meticulously, quickly and showed great professionalism at all times. They cleaned up after themselves and each one the team was pleasant and polite. We can't thank them enough for such a superb job. We love the driveway; it's so beautiful. 100% we would recommend this company.Thankyou martin and team.
They say buyer beware. Very true here. I have given two stars as workmanship is patchy, depending on what you have done and also for customer experience, which was not enjoyable. If you are going to employ Martin note the following.
1. Get EVERYTHING in writing. He tends to use WhatsApp which should be fine.
2. Agree payment terms at the start. (Note point 1 above.)
3. Don't let them anywhere near drains or drainage. They are not experts here.
4. Oversee the work as it progresses like a hawk. You will avoid pain later.
5. Our experience included being told we couldn't have a tarmac drive as it was too hot (record breaking 30+ degrees in May 2026) but this was AFTER they had dug up our old drive. With our backs to the wall we had to have block paving. He honoured the original price and added extras (thank you Martin) BUT again see point 1 above (which saved us).
6. Also note Martin can be very confrontational. For example, I misquoted something (yes, I was in the wrong Martin) and he immediately called me a liar. (Martin, please work on this. There are other options when somebody says something that isn’t right. Like, a misunderstanding or confusing a quote from another company, which doesn't mean someone is a liar.) See point 1.
7. On a positive note John was a delight to work with and the two staff from Iraq worked hard.

Hi Rob, just replying to your feedback review The job was booked in for a tarmac. Driveway installation with a Block paving border and We included ACO drainage for you meaning we installed it in to your main services as you asked on the day of preparation we discussed with you. It is very hot throughout the week we were working on as Tarmac is a hot surface finish and it may take longer to settle over a few more days then we agreed for normal Block paving. You required granite block paving. I did not have any objections including what you wanted and a more expensive material product for what you were happy to pay for on your terms and your conditions. With regards to payment terms we don’t ask for deposits as your materialism was a different brand what you chose that we don’t use through our accounts department. I asked you kindly to pay for just your Paving and of course it would be divided of the bill you were very rude and aggressive on the telephone when we spoke about the deposit payment for your Paving. Then I said to you if we can’t get the Paving paid for. Unfortunately we can’t proceed with the job as we try to respect all our customers, as respectful as possible as it works both ways in the business and homeowners industry, as well as there is some unfair builders and contractors of tradespeople. There is also unfair customers and homeowners of course we can’t paint everyone with the same brush I even included a driveway. sealant for you for no further costings and a edging, curb retaining entrance system I was just happy to get the job completed and move on to the next customer and with regards to you saying I said you were a liar you told me that I told you that there is no payment throughout the job you pay on completion. which was untrue You never asked me on anything at the beginning or throughout the job and I said to you, can you please show me in writing where I agreed to what you have just discussed, then you said straight away. Oh no, I have had you mixed up with a different company and then you said that the work is patchy in your review. You did choose us over four companies you received quotes from as we were the fifth. so Presumably you had enough time to think about who you liked and who you decided to go with as the job was booked in for a number of weeks before we could get to your project. if you did see anything, whilst the job was ongoing, you weren’t happy with of course, we would be happy to rectify any problems you could see for any unsatisfactory matter if you mentioned, anything, as the community can see what we deliver online and through our social media platforms it feels as there was some disagreements between you and your partner throughout the choice of Paving, because we were delayed with what you and your partner wanted and of course, you may have decided to share your anger against us for no reason, and of course when we discussed we didn’t. say that you couldn’t have a tarmac driveway. As We are a ground work and landscaping, specialist so we cover all aspects of any specification of any ground work installation we both had a conversation about the heat and it may take more time to settle as mentioned at the beginning of my explanation on this reply so nothing was discussed about you could not have Tarmac, of course, it was my job to share the information with you from my experience in case any problems occurred and with regards to using WhatsApp communication it is 2026 as it is a very popular app throughout the Mobile telephone world so I couldn’t see that being a problem also. We have just had a resin driveway completed which we are incredibly pleased with. martin came out and did an initial visit and explained the whole process through and was very personable. His team worked exceptionally hard, they were respectful of the property and those neighbouring us. We are delighted with the drive and would highly recommend them.
