Gaelle, Mackenzie, and the entire GLD Team blew away our very high expectations when we partnered with them for our "whole home" design project. From the immersive and collaborative initial design meeting to the final install day, GLD guided us every step of the way until our dream home became a reality. We are in awe of the craftsmanship, creativity, functionality, and feeling of serenity that is now evident everywhere we look. Also, the value that GLD brings to the table is not just their incredible taste, custom color palettes, or outside the box thinking, it's also their vetted relationships with the contractors, artists, craftsmen, and vendors that expertly help them execute the vision. All true professionals. GLD didn't stop until everything was perfect, and coming from two perfectionists, we had never encountered anyone who cared as much as we do about our home until we met GLD. They are truly the best.

I recently had an incredibly helpful virtual consultation with Gaelle and Stephanie. I have been struggling with bringing the vision together for our small dining room space. I love the design aesthetic of GLDESIGN and knew they would be the right team to help with the fine tuning. Within minutes, Gaelle had ideas and input for where to take the design. While she was totally flexible, I really appreciate her decisiveness in making the recommendations. They also helped with thoughts on the adjacent space and sent a variety of resources after-the-fact, which was the icing on the top of the cake. I feel confident with executing on the plan we discussed. Beyond the design expertise, they were an absolute pleasure to work with and are clearly experts in their craft. Gaelle, Ryann and team just finished a gut renovation of our home in Fairfield and we could NOT BE HAPPIER!! Every single detail was taken care of along the way. In a process that could have felt overwhelming, I felt like my husband and I got to enjoy all the "fun" and "good" stuff while her team handled all the "sticky" and "difficult" tasks. All of the choices could have drawn out the project 3X over, but Gaelle and her team cater to the personalities of their clients - they knew we could only handle 2 choices for each item - and it helped the entire build not only run on time and within budget, but come out absolutely beautifully! We have been in our house for a full year and I still pinch myself in the morning coming down for coffee in the breathtaking kitchen (the island of which was measured by Gaelle and team about 100 times to ensure perfection). The team is so talented, but also so down to earth and kind, that they became close friends over the course of the project. I can't wait for the next project we get to do with them!

As a client our Input was extremely important to them throughout the process, our wants and needs were met at every turn. They worked seamlessly with our builder/contractor to ensure a stress free and super fun experience. In addition to addressing every detail, their responsiveness to text, emails or phone calls was always immediate. They truly love what they do and it is evident in the energy they bring to their projects everyday. As a client you will always be their top priority. We used GLDESIGN for a renovation of a space that was previously an office. As empty-nesters we envisioned a space where we could spend quiet time reading, relaxing, escaping from work. Gaelle and her team created a space that is soothing and quiet, full of subtle textures and loaded with comfort. For GLDESIGN there is collaboration between the client and the designer; she is patient, thorough and very capable of working with all the different personalities involved in a project! I felt like they truly listened to what we were looking for in terms of design and respected our budget. Since then we have moved from CT to NC....we can't wait to find our home and fly Gaelle out here to design it!

We started working with GLDesign on some small projects. Carpets in several rooms, a new chandelier in the dining room and then moved outside for a transformation with our landscaping. Then it was on to the Master Suite where she redid the closet, bath and bedroom into a tranquil coastal oasis. Her team of contractors and designers are an absolute pleasure to work with and couldn't be more professional. Gaelle visits the job at least daily and sometimes more. She listens to concerns and the jobs have always come in on budget and on time. No surprise, but, we have her working on additional bathrooms, and rooms in the house and can't wait for the transformation.

Highly recommend! Gaelle, Ryann and the GL team are fun to work with, and have a beautiful, clean, beachy aesthetic. They are efficient, responsive, and time sensitive. They understand living in construction with little kids, and they get the job done as quickly as possible. They are upfront and real about the time things will take too! The room transformations they did for me (my room and my toddler's room) brought tears to my eyes. They are now, easily, the most beautiful spaces in our house!

GLDESIGN is pure magic. I couldn't be happier or more grateful to every member of the team for making my dream home a reality. The work is done extremely efficiently but also with high quality and a careful attention to detail. Every single member of the team was a pleasure to work with and all worked seamlessly together, from the construction crew to the electrician to the painters, etc. Everyone showed up on time, worked hard and was always extremely respectful of the space. Gaelle expertly used her eye for design to lead the way while maintaining the client's vision. I couldn't recommend GLDESIGN more highly, 5 stars doesn't even do them justice.

Gaelle was a pleasure to work with. She completely transformed the space in our TV room. Goodbye dark wall-to-wall carpet! Hello beautiful hard wood floor. Her vision for the space was everything I wanted... A little more modern than what we previously had, sophisticated, but casual enough for everyday use. This room was an eyesore before, and now it's so put-together! Besides having a great eye for design, Gaelle is also just a really nice person. She came in under budget too. I highly recommend Gaelle and her team at GLDesign!

I cannot highly recommend GLDesign enough. They have been not only instrumental, but essential, to the full renovation of our 1700's colonial farmhouse, from the early stages through completion and beyond. Gaelle is such a vibrant, happy person, with an incredible sense of design. She has an eye for capturing the beauty in an old house and mixing traditional with modern effortlessly. The pictures of her work speak for themselves, but her cool, coastal, bohemian vibe is truly a work of art in itself. She has worked closely with our contractors and built strong relationships while respecting their boundaries. Her design recommendations are always on point, and she is intuitive to her clients' wants and needs. Gaelle has gone above and beyond for us, taking much of the stress out of the day-to-day demands of a renovation of this scale. She has expertly managed the details, small and large, and is not afraid to get her hands dirty. From sifting through piles of barn wood, to managing the installation of shiplap, to searching for the perfect fish scale tile, to choosing paint colors, wallpaper, lighting and everything in between...she has literally done it all, and with a smile on her face. In a world cluttered with amazing images from Houzz and Pinterest, she knows what really works together and is realistic in terms of space and budget, and she gets genuinely excited coming up with new and fresh ideas of her own. But perhaps most importantly, she is FUN to work with and loves her job. If this wasn't our dream home, I'd do it all over again just to work with Gaelle and the phenomenal team at GLDesign!
