My boyfriend surprised me with a private stained glass workshop for my birthday and we had the best time! Akram and Fadia were so welcoming, sociable and great instructors. We are so happy with how our stained glass turned out and hope to return to the studio soon!

We had a fantastic time this past weekend at Glass Mosaic Canada. We participated in a 2h Stained glass workshop with Akram and Fadia. They are wonderful instructors with a lifetime of knowledge of their craft. They created a fun and inspiring space to learn and create, and were very thorough but easy to follow in their instruction. Their approach to guiding us through the workshop made it much easier to be successful and come out of the session with a lovely finished product. The shop is an amazing space that is decorated with a vast variety of their work and is located near many restaurants and reliable parking or transit. Definitely a worthwhile experience I would recommend to anyone. Looking forward to returning some time, and hopefully purchasing a piece of their work. Thank you both!

My boyfriend brought me here for my birthday and honestly… best idea ever. We had SUCH a good time! Akram (instructor/owner) was so warm, so welcoming, and somehow makes you feel like you’ve known him forever within 5 minutes. He doesn’t just teach you, he shares his story, his culture, and his passion in a way that makes the whole experience feel really special. If you’re even slightly into crafting, just go. You’ll leave with something you’re proud of AND a whole experience that actually feels worth it. We will definitely be coming back :)

The piece turned out great. You choose your design from their selection and pick pre-cut glass colours, and meld them together. It's a bit expensive for what it is especially when our instructor wasn't that informative (he just gave us direct instructions without much explanation, and left us on our own) We also felt quite unwelcome in the studio, like we were disrupting his weekend lol

2- There was a large selection to choose from
3- You been instructed to put it together successfully.
You can give some colors, canvas and a brush to anyone and you will get a painting without any instruction, but give glass and electrical grinder and a hot soldring iron to any one without instructions, probably they will end up in the hospital. was great having you over with your friends it was a great time for us to celebrate the birthday with you all, you are welcome any time to come over, thanks for your business. Hope you enjoed the birthday song we put it on for you.

Akram and Fadia were incredibly pleasant and knowledgeable. We arrived with a pre-set plan, but Akram went above and beyond by guiding us through the process and ensuring we had all the necessary supplies. They are truly the most skilled mosaic artists around, and we will definitely be back to attend a class in the future.

I booked a group stained glass workshop long in advanced and sent in a deposit, but two weeks out from the day I was told that some people would have to do mosaic work instead. For everyone to do stained glass the price would increase and more time would be required. That's reasonable, but not what we'd agreed to. Upon hearing this, I asked to cancel the class and get my deposit back. If it was me cancelling or very last minute I'd understand not returning the deposit, but changing the expected activity and the pricing two weeks out doesn't seem right to me.

We went here in December for my sister’s birthday and we had a lovely experience! Fadia and Akram are so knowledgeable and friendly. They were very accommodating of our changing schedule and we even bought some earrings afterwards! This was a really cool experience for us and we love the way our pieces turned out!

Went here right after the lunch with friends at Three Brothers across the street. The owners are a couple, very patient and responsive when coaching us making mosaic glass/jewelry. It was my first time making glass and it was a fun experience! One thing I learnt from the 2h glassmaking workshop is the flexibility, in terms of navigating through things, time, and life in general
