I don’t normally write reviews, but I felt compelled to share how incredible Stefanie and Jack were throughout my legal process. I was going through a really difficult time when I reached out to a few law firms to discuss my concerns. Most of the lawyers I spoke with seemed very rush. I usually was given 15 minutes and had to spew out as much info as possible, hoping I’d say the “right” things to catch their interest. It felt transactional, and honestly, pretty overwhelming and disheartening.
Then I spoke to Jack.
One thing I’ll never forget from that first conversation was when he told me, “We have time. Tell me what's going on.” It was such a simple thing, but after feeling so rushed before, it meant a lot to me. For the first time, I felt like someone actually wanted to listen so that they could possibly help, not just evaluate whether my case was “worth it.”

Jack and Stefanie were warm and supportive throughout the whole experience. They were also very good about setting my expectations of what was possible and gave me all of the information I needed to make the right decisions as my situation developed, allowing me to weight pros and cons in an unemotional way. They ended up surpassing my expectations (I had very low ones due to the exact nature of my case) and I was very pleased with the outcome.
I had worked with larger firms that have a blue-chip reputation in NYC before and I honestly felt like I had a better experience with Jack and Stefanie than with those firms.

This has to be one of the best law office in all of NYC!!! Not only that, Carmen and Stefanie are probably 2 of the most genuine people that you'll ever meet. We'll start with Stefanie. She is amazing. polite and professional every step of the way, she shows a real concern for the client and keeps you updated throughout the process (which can be lengthy as the wheels of justice really do turn slowly). When you speak with her you feel as though you are speaking with family. Next there's Carmen (the firm's namesake). When he tells you that he has your back, he REALLY does have your back. He's professional and accomplished, with a warm and welcoming personality and serious about making his clients feel whole, He will fight hard for you, in my case (which wasn't a huge settlement) his concern and demeanor we as though it was worth much more.
