Jon with Get On The Track did a lecture for our local private car club geared toward improving performance and safety for track drivers, and I have to say, it is clear he is “The Instructor.” He’s composed, articulate, and a master of his craft. His presentation offered a great mix of theory and practical application for both novice and experienced drivers. Topics covered included racing lines, braking zones, throttle control, weight transfer, and track etiquette. It was especially helpful to see data and video examples during this classroom session. By the end of the day, I had a much better understanding of how to approach corners more efficiently and safely, and manage my car's dynamics.

I had a truly amazing experience with Jonathan while driving my own car at COTA. Jonathan is very patient, personable, smart and knowledgeable. He makes an already amazing experience an even better one. After taking a 2 hour lesson with him at COTA, I decided to sign up for his regular racing lessons. He makes you feel safe and improves your driving abilities exponentially. And it is soooo much fun! If in doubt, go for it. UPDATE: 2nd time at COTA, in my own little Honda Civic. I had a 2 hour blast, and Jon was once again extremely nice and patient with this slow learner! Thank a milion Jon. More people should definitely test their cars at the track, and learn what driving is really about!

Jon is an outstanding instructor. I lucked out in getting 3 sessions on 3 days with completely different track conditions. I learned a lot and then realized how much more I wanted to learn. Jon does a great job of teaching the skills you are looking for, setting great objectives and milestones for you to achieve and then tailoring the lessons for your goals. I felt completely safe and comfortable pushing the limits of my skills, building my skills, and testing the cars limits. If you’re reading this review, then you’re probably thinking about getting on the track. I will tell you, you found the right instructor to do it with. For me the thought of getting on the track for the first time was a little intimidating. I knew I would be on the track with more experience drivers. So paying the extra money for an instructor made a lot of sense to me. Little did I know how great it would be. From our first conversation ( 2.5 months ago ) until yesterday November 25th he has helped me with finding the right car for my budget, sent informational YT videos to help me understand some of the basic fundamentals. He introduced me to basically everyone he talked to on the track and in the clubhouse. It seemed to be a very welcoming community all around. It was a great experience and I’ll definitely be using him as an instructor in the future. Not because I feel like I have the knowledge to do it by myself now, I feel I do. It’s because I know I’ll learn in 1 session with Jonathan, what it would take me going alone 10x or more. I would have gave more stars if it would have let me. Jonathan you rock dude! Thank you again

We were in a position where we needed to get rid of two older cars (2004 & 2013) and needed three later model cars. Jon helped in pricing the 2013 for trade-in and with the mechanical reputation of the cars we were considering. When the dealer offered us their price, we responded with Jon's recommended price; they agreed to that price. Win-Win. With such a large investment, having Jon's additional knowledge and experience gave us peace of mind and helped us save more than a few bucks.

I recently had the opportunity to work with Jon at Get On The Track and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. Jon is a true racing driver with with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Through out the day I learned about race craft, proper driving technique, and vehicle dynamics, which I was able to put into practice on the track. I was impressed by Jon's attention to detail and in car communication, which made me feel confident to push the limits of my driving skill. in addition to the technical side Jon is a positive and engaging person, which makes him a perfect teacher for any skill level. Overall I highly recommend Get On The Track to anyone looking to develop their skills as a driver and to better understand the limits of their vehicle.
