I can't believe I was able to marry my person I love without having to spend thousands on a wedding. I booked the appointment in 5 minutes and called the next day to make sure I knew everything I needed to do and or bring. This IS special, you can also bring guests which is sweet. We as a couple didn't want to wait to save money to be legally married, and this was the most efficient and best way for us. I highly recommend this, it even seems easier because they do all the paperwork for you! So happy we did this.

The officiant arrived late to our appointment, which unfortunately affected our experience. As the sunset was going away, we felt rushed during the ceremony instead of being able to relax and fully enjoy the moment.
Being late to such an important event is unacceptable, especially since we had also booked a photographer and were all waiting for the officiant to arrive. A few days before the ceremony, they also attempted to change the meeting time, which caused us additional stress.
We paid for the full service, and despite the delays and the poor communication, no discount or goodwill gesture was offered. Overall, the lack of punctuality and communication was disappointing on such a special occasion.
UPDATE: I followed up with GetMarriedToday, as they suggested in their reply to my review, to arrange a refund or some form of goodwill gesture. Instead of addressing the issue, they asked me to change my review and blame the officiant for arriving late. I explained that this wasn’t my responsibility — I booked through GetMarriedToday, and they were the ones who coordinated the officiant.
When I asked again about the refund they mentioned in their reply - a comment they clearly wrote publicly as a marketing move, rather than a genuine attempt to resolve the issue - they told me to contact the officiant directly. After that, they stopped responding to my emails.
This experience shows a clear lack of professionalism. I’ve updated my review from 2 stars to 1.
We're very sorry your officiant arrived late and that the last-minute time change and poor communication affected your ceremony. This is not the experience we intend to provide and we understand how upsetting it was with a photographer waiting and the sunset fading. We have reviewed our scheduling and communication procedures and reinforced punctuality expectations with our team to prevent this from happening again.
