Come one, come all! Visit the very best snake oil salesman in all of Southwest Florida. After getting a brand new AC unit in 2022 we have had subsequent issues upon issues. A coil replacement, leaking refrigerant, a pump replacement, and at the very least 8 service calls because our house was not cooling properly. In a unit that is only 4 years old this was not the expectation we had upon purchase. The photos included are clear representation of their "best" and if this is their best then I don't want it. After the the initial installation it had to be redone. I was first quoted $500 to fix their mistake and $1,500 during a second quote. Needless to say, we've switched companies and wish we had gotten a second opinion to begin with to avoid the headache of dealing with Best Home Services. *UPDATE* After hearing from Rachel and what is now Veteran Air, she took our situation to heart and went above and beyond to correct all issues incurred from the former Best Home Services. Rachel was responsive, made us feel like a priority and was always available. The technician, Xavier, came out and was able to assess our unit and diagnose the issues. From the time Rachel reached out to us out of concern for our unit, to the time the AC was fixed was less than a week. They resolved the broken elements and also replaced the mildew plenum. The same AC unit that was reading 88 degrees before resolution has held a steady 74 since! Thank you Rachel, Xavier and team for your dedication to our family as customers. We've never been more grateful for our cool home.

I have a AC unit that Veteran Air acquired thru Best Home Services. So they are supposed to service this unit. They convinced us that we needed a UV light inside unit and to have it cleaned. We had signed agreement and they scheduled us two weeks out. We took off from work to accommodate this date. The day before we received a text to confirm our appointment, so we confirmed. We waited our time slot was 8 -12 They did not show. I received a message at 1230 that they can't do the job due to no parts. I called the company to see what happened, They told me someone would call within 48 hours. They never called. We wasted 4 hours of time off from work to have the unit cleaned and light installed. This company has no integrity or respect for thier clients

The technician who came to our home led my wife to believe that Best Home Services had merged with Roto-Rooter. The repair job created a new problem: the flush lever on the tank now sticks in the down position and must be manually raised or the toilet water keeps running; the serviceman left it this way. The price was $550, which seems a little steep for $20 or $30 worth of parts and less than an hour. There was no itemization on the bill detailing the cost of parts and labor; only two invoices, which, on the surface, look like two house calls for the one toilet. The total bill was $550 to solder a new wall valve that the hose to the tank was connected to, and to replace the flush valve inside the tank. I normally do these simple fixes but was on the road with business, and my wife got sucker punched by these guys. A representative of Best Home Services did attempt to call while I was on a phone call. When I called them back, they were unable to locate the caller.

I CALLED THIS COMPANY BECAUSE I SAW THE GREAT REVIEWS THEY HAD. I NEVER KNEW I WAS MAKING THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE. THE SELLER WHO CAME OUT TO SELL ME A NEW AIR CONDITIONER SYSTEM NAME IS GLENN KOLB. HE SAID I NEEDED A NEW SYSTEM AND ALSO SAID I NEEDED THE DUCT WORK ALL NEW. WE WERE VERY VULNERABLE DUE TO OUR AIR CONDITONAR GOING OUT ON US. SO, WE TOOK A FAST DECISION.THE FIRST PRICE, THEY GAVE US WAS 32,800 THEN I SAW HOW EXPENSIVE IT WAS AND I SAID IT WAS TOO HIGH. THEN THEY ENDED CHARGING ME 28,000 TO INSTALL A NEW AIR CONDITIONER AND TO REDO THE DUCT WORK ON THE CEILING. GLENN KOLB SOLD ME A 4 TON UNIT. THEN THEY CAME OUT TO DO THE INSTALLATION MONDAY MORNING. THEY TOOK 1 DAY AND A HALF TO COMPLETE THE INSTALLATION. FROM THE BEGINNING IT DID'T WORK BECAUSE THEY SAID THE UNIT IT SELF CAME DEFECTIVE. THEN THE NEXT DAY THEY CAME AND REPLACED THE UNIT INSIDE WITH ANOTHER ONE. THEY LEFT IT RUNNING AND THE HOUSE WAS NOT COOLING. AFTER A FEW DAY THEY SEND OUT ANOTHER TEAM MEMBER NAME DEVIN TO REDO THE DUCK WORK BECAUSE SUPPOSEDLY THE FIRST TEAM HAS DONE IT COMPLETELY WRONG. AFTER THE REPAIRS WERE DONE SUPPOSEDLY. THEY KEPT SENDING A DIFFRENT TECHNICIAN EVEYDAY TO TRY TO FIX THE PROBLEM. AFTER A MONTH PASSED, THEY CAME TO THE CONCLUSION WE NEEDED A 3 TON UNIT INSTEAD OF A 4 TON UNIT THAT THEY HAD SOLD ME ALREADY. THEN AFTER THEY CAME AND INSTALLED A 3 TON SUPPOSEDLY IT WOULD WORK BETTER. "SAID BY THE PROFESSIONALS" UNTILL TODAY DATE 8/18/26 NOT ALL ROOMS HAVE BEEN ABLE TO COOL DOWN. EVERY TIME I TRY TO COMMUNICATE WITH SOMEONE IN THE OFFICE, THEY SEND ME A TECHNICIAN. WHEN THE LAST TECH CAME, HE WAS VERY FRUSTRATED AND NOT REALLY HELP FULL AT ALL. AND SAYING HE WAS GOING TO CHARGE ME TO CAME OUT AGAIN. AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY. I CAN NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.I WOULD NEVER HIRED THEM AGAIN. IF I COULD I WOULD GIVE THEM ZERO STARS. I RECOMMEND IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A COMPANY TO INSTALL OR REPAIR YOUR AC UNIT LOOK ELSE WHERE OR YOU WOULD JUST BE TROWING YOUR MONEY AWAY.

Employees Worked 8 to 8 to put new water lines to the whole house. My opinion of workers I give them a superb rating They worked with 1 short lunch break. I can’t say enough for what Best Home Services did for my house & Family. I’m up in my age and stayed home and watched these young men perform there Magic. They found the underground water leak losing 28,000 Gallons of water a hour. Florida Water works charged me $386.00 for usage last month of March for 25,000 gallons for March. My Bank notified me when they see a unfamiliar Charge but not Florida Water & Power.

Be very aware. This is nothing but an upsell scheme. I was told every visit that I need thousands of dollars of products and equipment installed. When I became suspicious, I had other companies and personal friends with expertise check their findings and they found nothing. For example i was told there was mold in the ac unit above the garage requiring a $3000 device. My husband went up and took photos and found no mold. Better to use local level trusted technicians to check your home.

Over priced. High pressure salesman. More of a salesman for thing not needed. Had me sign for a water heater filter that I really didn’t need then had to end up replacing the water heater that they installed 2 years prior. Had to pay for Both since I already signed for the filter. He talked me into a service agreement to “save” money. I moved and cancelled now they want me to pay for it even though I never used any of those”services “ included. They made their money by selling me something overpriced that I didn’t need.
